NC250 Royal Enfields NW Roadtrip Pt 9 The Lecht Road to Braemar
Join us on the first Roadtrip this year on our royal Enfields,
4 bikes, 4 days, 3 nights camping weather permitting, and what would be an 800 mile trip as we ride the NW coast of Scotland, along some of the now signed NC 500, making a NC250 route with better routes forming a loop from Dalwhinnie to Perth - I do not have a GPX file of this route as planned on map and 30 years riding in Scotland., in some of the best roads and sights, and we will be riding other great roads less used by others away from the now famous and busy coastal route, returning home on the highest roads in the UK!...
In Pt 9 we ride south over the Lecht Ski Centre pass, into the clouds, on the second highest road in the UK!...

LOL! Filled up at that petrol station at Braemar on Saturday before stopping at Tee at the Shee for lunch. Great road.

Definately better in the sunshine, but always nice to be on the bike. 👍 The DNA and cat delete transformed my Meteor. Improved sound, torque and 0 to 60 . 😎 🥃

I take my hat off to you all. Some distance to cover.😊 I would bail out, with fatigue……lol I really wanted to come join you from Lecht. But chicken’d out, due to weather😢 Still to do this on the bike. The War horse nailed it.😊 great sound.

I consider ourselves very lucky everytime we've done this route weathers been excellent...its usually west coast can be a bit wet ....anyway I'm always amazed at how enfields have a sweet spot of torque( yeah not fast)....but more than enough for UK roads as you know....here in lake district there's no pass or hill I can't get up potholes traffic etc ..spoil real power... atb...

Morning Bruce, more proof of the Classic 350's abilities! 👍, I posted some of my Scotland tour pictures on a Royal Enfield site, and a guy was asking how my bike coped as it seemed a long trip for a small bike? He owned a GSX1000 and is thinking of moving away from the big bikes, I explained just how capable these bikes are then suggested he visits your channel if he needed more convincing ! 😆 Cheers Mel 🍻

Hi 350 has the Hitchcocks UK full stainless exhaust and the DNA air filter and the Kent performance camshaft which adds a a sharper bark to the exhaust note 😜😁👍
