I love it here! Haha. Dirt road Sunday drives are sometimes exactly what we need in life!

Really loving these videos so far and making lots of notes. Can you give a little more information on where Wash Creek is, and what BRP Bridge you're talking about?

Thanks for watching. It really helps the channel grow! I’m glad it’s helping you as well. Wash creek is shortly after the eastern entrance to yellow gap road, located close to mills river. You’ll take yellow gap road for a very short distance, then turn north on to wash creek (fr 5000) where you will cross under the BRP onto bent creek.

@@ADVENTURUSS To get onto Yellow Gap from Mills River, it looks like the road on that end is called N Mills River Rd and then it turns into Yellow Gap. Does that sound right? Also, it looks like you can access Yellow Gap from 276 close to Cradle of Forestry and go that way, but it would be a lot longer. Have you done that route?

unfortunately, the FS has shut down Yellow Gap pretty much in the middle. There's a horse camp area, and gates are closed, so you'd only be able to go in from the Mills River side, and yeah N Mills River Rd is correct.

Thanks for sharing. - At times, I've noticed gates closed at Wash Creek (5000) area. do you know when Pisgah rangers close the gate?

I believe it stays open year-round, unless there are temporary closures for maintenance or weather conditions. I know they've had quite a few sections of yellow gap closed for a while, and likely permanently closed others in Pisgah. I always check the FS websites and check trail reports on OnX and Gaia - not that they're always accurate.

Thought it said Walsh Creek for a second lol
