Been in that area several times it is by far my favorite place to ride! You don't have to ride a lot to ride a lot!

This was on my list of places to ride to last week but didn't get there. Got another ride coming up in a few weeks out that way - maybe then...

I was actually surprised by it..had no idea of what to expect. Pretty cool to see something like that in person. Plus there’s a little visitor center.

@@motorider4130 Beautiful area. We have a big one like that here at Kerr Lake. Doing the Cherohala next trip so maybe we'll get to Fontana also. After all your time with the 6 speed, have you wished for the DCT?

@@Hogdriver88 sometimes yes lol..but I really enjoy shifting in the twisties. I know you can do that with the DCT as well but to me it’s not the same. I’ll probably switch to the DCT in about 2-3 years when I sell my 2018. Currently at 34,500 miles so I expect to hit at least 50k before that. Everyone I know who has the DCT loves it.

@@motorider4130 DCT is really good. Not the same as a manual, but still really good. I'm looking again and thinking of going back to the Tour DCT but I need to ride a 6 speed first.
