Swear I grew up living in the city but we had land my whole life and it got boring but we always made our own fun. My friends all had babies before I graduated H.S while I was working the farm and farmers markets so when I did go out I wasn't the bum of the group I always worked and always had my own cash.

@jebarlee8920 the before the government regulated growing tobacco we worked those fields we had livestock so before school we had to feed them let them out to graze and bring em back in before dinner. Walk or four-wheel the fences to check for down poles broken sections, bale hay and straw during summer vacations and finally tend to the crops. Me and my siblings did all of this while having to maintain a normal life as a student and kid. My oldest sister was an Honor roll student me an A, B student and the others just maintained their grades enough to play sports and not catch that switch, wooden spoon, belt, or whatever ma could get her little hands on.
