Watching these gives me a lot of respect for Dan Crawford.

Danny Crawford seems like the only respectable ref. He is respected by the players, he explains the reasoning of his calls clearly, and he doesnt throw out players for staring at him or trying to make their case. And he actually admits the times he;s wrong instead of making some BS up

Watching Tim Danaughy at 1:25 just staring... I was wondering hard, what was going though that prick's mind at that moment. He was probably thinking how many points the margin had to be and what he had to do to make that happen.

Tim Donaghy was the official you refer to, he is late in the clip, with Dick Bevetta and Jimmie Clark. Met once, arrogant, unfriendly douchebag. Pretty much every other refereee I have ever met (probably about thirty of them total, many multiple times), were honest, hard working, and tried to call games to the best of their abilities.

Joe Crawford should've never been allowed to officiate in the NBA, and neither should've Steve Javie.

Hi Garrett. Unfortunately the NBA was only wiring the refs for a few years, 2000-2004 I think. That's why these clips are so old. However, check out the 5th video, it contains some clips from the 2012/13 season from the Hornets-Kings game: NBA referees wired 5 - featuring Steve Javie, Dirk Nowitzki and others

i don't like that the nba refs apologize all the time to calm down the players. if you make a decision you make that decision because you were 100% sure about it. You shouldn't apologize to the players to try to make them stop protesting. either eject them or show some authority
