U are conflating two things. They are separate. How Teresa coped with her sentence (by making friends w the girls) has nothing to do w why she went to prison. The case Heather is speaking of, going to prison (and therein making friends there) is a choice in that it’s making the best out of a shitty situation that could be way worse if u relied solely on the justice system prevailing in ur favor.

And even similar bodie shapes! My family is all on the tiny side and can’t gain weight. ( belly issues but genetics too). Somehow my 10 yr. Old cat is 2 inches shorter in length & height than the most cats and too skinny even though she eats constantly! I always felt people and animals do begin to look alike…….but body size too!

He took an Alford plea deal. It’s an odd compromise plea. It’s a deal to admit guilt in a way without really admitting guilt. Look it up…. It’s very odd!! IMO that guy was guilty as sin but a jury never found him guilty. 😮

@@saraw112. Oh yes they did! The original jury in his first murder trial found him GUILTY. He spent many years in prison until his conviction was overturned due to faulty evidence by Duane Deever. Then he faced a new trial and offered that stupid Alford plea of “theres enough evidence of my Guilt but I won’t admit to it” so he could go home “to his grandchild (poor child)”. Can anyone tell how deeply I despise him?

Was he ever charged for the murder in Europe? Was that his first wife? I remember the circumstances seemed to be the same in terms of the murder…

I don't think they're going to retry Karen Read. I don't think they will find a full jury that hasn't been exposed to this trial. At the same time, I don't think she'll take a plea deal, not after claiming her innocence so vocally. Im very interested to see what will happen next. Honestly i think the jury was too afraid to say she was not guilty because then they'd have to admit they thought the police were involved. That police force seems to have that town in a choke hold

I can’t imagine where they can go in MA to find 12 non biased jurors. Attorneys online have said that it’s typical of the DA’s office to say yeah we are going to retry! But the fact is, there’s nothing else that they could do at this point to help their case. Unless more taillight pieces start to reveal themselves again 😵‍💫🙈 Hell no to the plea deal!!! That’s exactly what the commonwealth was counting on to frame Karen!! I believe that’s why they didn’t care enough to do an actual cover up of a real investigation. Never thought it would go to trial! Ugh. Disgusting!! It’s so scary to know that we all could be Karen Read.

AGREE this case had reasonable doubt on STEROINDS, what the jurors who wanted to convict had in their heads is beyond me

Heather I'm sure you have already done that (Eddie Murphy story) In my case as I mentioned on Patreon I've been in and out of ER and having JS and Friday parreon on one of the stays helped me free my mind from focusing on the pain so much Now as I anxiously wait for surgery I was just thinking I'll wake up Thursday, ill have fun listening to juicy scoop and it will be just a day away! so thank you. Also, Tuesday and Thursdays have been easier to get out if bed when having my low energy days from depression.

Oh, and I believed Michael, from the staircase murders all up until I found out that was his second wife that had died in that way. The HBO version of the staircase is absolutely 100,000% worth every second spent staring at my TV. Anything with Toni Collette is an absolute gold mind mine!

You mentioned the Karen Read case and I have lived and breathed court tv live streams since. Such an interesting case. I went back and forth several times. I have driven my entire family nuts talking about it constantly.

You sound like me with murdaugh. I wasn’t working, I watched Emily d baker all day long and typed up a daily recap for my friends. The sad thing I left for my first vacation since the pandemic the day the defense rested. I was in antártica when the verdict came back. My friend had paid for wifi and ran into the lounge to tell me. Also when I landed in Beunos Aires and got on WiFi, my phone blew up - Scandoval!

I wish I had followed sooner cuz ya know when you know you’re way too behind to get caught up? I know some stuff but I know I’m missing enough that if I comment anything, ppl will reply irate. When Matt was on here & said the next day she drove back, w/ two friends saying ‘I hit him, I know I hit him’ that rly seemed odd, changed my knowing of the case. BUT, all the cops getting rid of their phones right after a body was found outside the house they were at?!? In what world is that normal behavior?!?!? Sketchy isn’t even the word. I didn’t consider how scary it would be for the jury to say not guilty , which alludes to it being the cops & if they feared repercussions by them afterwards.

I was just thinking about the Mean Gays yesterday and wondering what they were up to. This episode went by so fast! Loved it!

Grew up a couple towns over from Canton and about five minutes from the courthouse. It’s kind of absurd how not surprising any of these results are as a local. Like any of it. Also I just cannot get past them GETTING RID OF THEIR DOG……..

Yea, people don’t realize how much gets covered up in small towns. I kno it can happen anywhere but this sounds like our local police department 😈 Heck, my SIL got pulled over the other night for “no blinker” which was bs. She pulls outta her drive n They followed for a few then she turns blinker on to turn n they hit the lights. The cop was training a female. I’m going to try n shorten this n sorry, I’m not trying to go off here but guess I need this known. The male cop said he saw no blinker n asked the girl if she did 🙄 she said no I didn’t either So they are corrupted from the jump. The saddest n most infuriating part is my SIL went the way she did to avoid the place her husband, my brother, died last June. But do they kno that, no. They asked to search her car, she said ok, then called K9 n patted her down! Kids w her and She had my brothers final clothes folded in the back because they’re moving in w my mom and they went through my brothers pants pockets and left everything a mess 😪 She didn’t deserve an ounce of that! Needless to say, that’s how u become a cop hater 🤷‍♀️

I tell that story to show an example that if they lie about the little things, like blinkers while they’re training the noobs, imagine what else they’d cover n lie about. I mean no way was that female going to disagree with her supervisor in that instance w my SIL. And if one or more of these guys had beef w John O’keefe then it wouldn’t surprise me if they “helped” each other at all. An argument between he n Karen n her bumping him w the car cld’ve happened too, just don’t know if his injuries show that.

I would say he should transfer out of state but there is no system tracking all this stuff - that’s how bad cops get hired in other towns / states. Unless that has changed since I saw it on dateline

Agree, the whole month focus on sexual preference does affect the gay influencers. People are over it. No one cares who you have sex with. Putting this enormous focus on LBGTQ actually hinders the reason it was started, which I think was equality and acceptance. When we lift one sector up by means of putting another down that never is sustainable

if I were innocent there's no way I'd agree to a plea deal. The only plea I would agree to is an Alford....when allegedly they have enough evidence to convict you but you don't want to go to trial
