@@leventehorvath709 run faster jump higher??? I don't think so, it's the game speed that is faster, but not necessarily the players. Same for jumps, and as far as muscles are concerned, I don't agree at all, it's the same or even more muscular in the 90's 00's. Today they take shots faster, they run more, but not necessarily faster.

Gary Payton in his prime was arguably the most underrated players ever. Legitimately a top 15 player of all-time. I'm a Bulls fan, but those Sonics teams were incredibly fun to watch, and in my opinion, the biggest challenge the Bulls ever faced in the Finals. Bulls were lucky to get a 3-0 lead on them, otherwise things could have gone differently.

It was a delibetate move to get rid of Kemp. And the Sonics management would do it anyway. They choked Kemp on the boards (2 at halftime) with those 2 bigs and Garry had 14 rebs. Orlando also thought Shaq was demanding too much and they would do pefectly well without him.

This is what basketball looks like with elite effort on both sides of the court. LeFans know nothing of what real b-ball is. You think matador defense with massive spacing so that the scorer has all the advantages is real bball? You only saw today’s version of b-ball in exhibition level b-ball back in the day. Now exhibition b-ball is NBA b-ball. Did you notice the boxing out in this video? The postup game? The midrange game? The lock down defense you had to score through? This was a true sport once. Adam silver himself acknowledged that players today would not be on the level of what they are now, if they played back then. He specifically mentioned Curry as that defense would have stifled his ability to do what he does today. Those are facts. So imagine these real warriors from the Bulls and Sonics playing today with the matador defense, the massive spacing, offensive player can’t be touched, allowed to walk, carry and offensive foul your way to an empty cup for easy scores? A lot of yall truly have messed up Comprehension skills. If you can look at this game an not see superior version of b-ball compared to the soft, exhibition watered down game of today, I don’t know what else will open your eyes. To be able to score 25-50 pts or more in that past era, you truly had to be elite. Today, any chump off the bench can score 30-70. It’s that easy. For contrast, just look how clogged the paint was back then. Look how little spacing they had to score even on the perimeter. It forced them to develop real elite skills, unlike today, where this eras so-called greatest didn’t have to develop any skills other than elbow smashes, shoulder bashes, hip checks, barreling over players etc. He was never forced to actually develop b-ball skills. Pressure makes diamonds, coddling produces narcissistic, entitled pseudo greats. Stern & Silver removed the essentials that created true greats. Ratings prove this era is overrated propaganda.
