Anyone else feel so heart warmed when an opponent player knocks down an insane shot and even the away crowd is LOUD? Like 95% of fans are there to see their home team win but even the majority crowd acknowledges a ridiculous shot!

honestly when it comes to tv broadcasts, the loud deep thump combined with the net swish sound when the ball hits back rim but still falls straight down, i honestly like that sound more than just a clean swish lol. wish it sounded like that in person

You are right. The term should not be a “swish” since it technically a ball hitting the net only - and not any part of the rim

Hearing the swish is what got me in love with basketball. Such a nice and satisfying sound
