Tbf now all star game is different but still fun it is more like a talent show where u get to see cool plays

You can still play entertaining and competitive basketball while not going all out which was back then, I’m not sure why it become even less watchable than warmup drills nowadays

We love the 2000s era were Prime T-mac & Prime Kobe go head to head.

I like how they represented their team and not just the whole western conference and eastern conference

The All-Star games back then were highly competitive. I remember MJ hitting his trademark fadeaway to give the East the lead in his final appearance. But Kobe wasn’t having it. He came right back at him on the opposite end to give the West the lead right back.

Back then, whenever they were doing this, they were getting hurt at a high rate! So they ended up protecting themselves and not playing so hard.

@@williamjohnpacker1563 ngl I agree with both of them to some degree. The all star games need to be changed so there is more rewards for the best team or the a trophy the best player in the team. But I also think that todays all stars would beat the old all stars especially if they combine both the all star teams and pick out the best players out of them for example, curry, giannis, dame, anthony davis etc. but people shouldn't worry about this anyway since it will never happen.
