Smoove plays like the Rockets. Dribble penetration, draw the extra defender, pass to the open man. Launch a 3 most of the time, or a pump fake bringing an open driving lane. Such a shame they got to Game 6 vs OKC but lost. They were exciting to watch when they had it going !

I personally wouldn't be surprised if this was the case. It actually makes more sense than the other conspiracies and is more realistic. When I see people with at max 3-4 gold players (most My Teams only have 1-2 if they weren't bought) and Smoove with all his stars, it rings alarm bells, it really does.

That's what My Team is all about. You can build a team consisting of legendary players, so you can dominate. Had it not been for reckless ball movement, he wouldn't have had so many problems on offense. His opponent was basically cheesing with Durant, however, his defense was just great. Great game, though.

i thought so too, but my team mechanics are so different than any other mode. If somebody is open with a decent shot, it usually goes in no matter what level the player is. I was beating teams that had several gold players and all i had were bronze players

Penny's release is fast btw, he doesn't have a slow release. He has a 80 3PT rating, so he can knock them down but he is no where near as good of a shooter as Starks. Starks is a beast from 3.

on defense you should always handle manually either your center or your power forward to make sure that they don't get easy points in the paint... everytime a player attacks with a drive, some other player on the offense gets open in the paint, all it takes now is an easy pass inside and that's it if you're not there to block or contest the layup/dunk with your big man

He always does that. See you thought by the time near the end that he was going to lose because the guy had enough time left. But you got surprised and now we have to wait for the overtime. It is just a way Smoove does his overtimes so we don't know what is going to happen. If he would of put the overtime in then we would of known that Overtime was coming.

What I'm doing right now which people hate but works is have at least 1 or 2 good 3 point shooters on each line to come back if you're down (cheap ones are patrick mills, terrence ross, etc.) If you're in the 6th, 7th, or 8th seed try to have at least all silver players for your starters.

Well, actually he started out on Madden and then went to Nba 2k10 and didn't play COD at all until after playing NBA first, but other than that you make a pretty good point

if you played the older games, you would find it harder to transition to new controls. for example on nba live 98 you held O to shoot, then on the early 2ks it was square. and i still use square to shoot because i'm used to it. if he doesn't want to use right stick layups or intense D it's his choice

Well, The 1-3-1 isnt exactly super cheesy because it prevent anyone from taking it to the hole but if you use it right you can use it to prevent 3 point cheese so dont call the 1-3-1 super cheesy because the weakest thing about the 1-3-1 is the corners so as long as your team is full of good on ball defenders.

But what smoove needs to do is put post proficiency on Magic and post him up. Then do the dream shake and he scores on triple teams easily. And when you are in a post move the 1-3-1 collapses to the paint and leaves shooters wide open. Magic is the weakness to the 1-3-1 defense.

I didn't say I wouldn't use it. I have used it before, however, it is considered cheesing. It's sort of how they make it so easy to shoot threes (hence why so many players use 3 point cheesing teams).

If he knew he was driving to paint, it would of been easier to tell your team to collapse in paint.( XBOX press > then B ) you have to change it back or it'll stay like that just like the zone ( XBOX press > the L ) The same with people who jack up 3 point shots all game ( XBOX press > then A ) that'll tell your team to deny and pressure shooters.
