I do the same thing every time someone is usin that 1-3-1 zone. I get where Smoove is comin from. He even had that mean comeback cheese in the fourth quarter. It may be annoying but it's sure as hell useful.

@ potato love: an iso for any zone works dude. Especially if you have a pg that can penetrate and get in the paint b/c the players ALWAYS collapse and you just dish it to an open player. All you have to do is have good ball movement. There's always someone open when someone plays a zone. You just don't know the game of basketball that well

Wow Chris is a beast. This video showed how good he is. He got to the second seed not using any zone and was able to bet nearly every zone. As soon as he switched to zone his opponent scored 4 Points in the whole quarter. Chris had to deal with the Zone nearly 20 Mins and dropped 51 :D He is the zone buster!

the way to beat the 1-3-1 zone is to run plays... almost every playbook has a play called Horns... it sends your 2 and 3 guards to the corners and one of them will usually be open

Ahh i loughed my ass off, when Smoove busted out the 1-3-1, that opponent really deserved to get cheesed on. Nice video Smoove. Btw Smoove just run the Zipper C from the Celtics playbook all day against the 1-3-1 zone, gets you wide open corner threes and even if they close out, you just swing the ball to the other side for the wide open splash :)

1-3-1 zone! That's a smoove move for the come back!

To beat the zone all u gotta do is just move the ball constantly at all times. If it's stuck for more than 3 seconds with a player you're not doing the right thing. Get shooters to space out the floor, keep a bigman who can rebound for offensive rebounds. The biggest weakness in the 1-3-1 are that it's not good for rebounding and the corners are vulnerable if you move the ball.
