man.. have you listened how they played and sounded live in the 70's? i was shocked. They sucked.. and I mean it. I tried to find 70s stuff and to my disgrace I found a 1977 footage. Its sad.

@@donalddodds8335 Been sayin' this for years. Play 'N' the Game is one of the greatest rock albums ever created. The first four songs alone on that album. Most bands have never even come close to having one that's even almost as good as any of them. Waiting for the Man. How is that masterpiece never ever mentioned??? They were right up there with the Stones, Led Zep, Sabbath, ACDC in my book

Nazareth are pride of Scotland.. their contribution to rock n roll is essential.. they should be inducted to The RnR Hall of Fame

underrated...me as a 16 year old kid driving a 1980 Dodge slant six short box in 1992. Having this on tape in the tape deck having no idea they were Scottish. Now I'm fifty and appreciate them even more. I felt like the biggest, happiest, kid cruising around back then listening to Nazareth. Loved their ballads too...good with the young ladies back then too.

I've been listening to these guys for the past 45 years and they never grow old!! Driving too fast, with Nazareth turned up as high as my stereo will allow, and belting out Hair if the Dog with Dan... nothing feels better after a long day at work!!

Nazareth not being in the Rock and Roll hall of fame is bull shit .

RIP Dan McCafferty...... such a unique voice.... fans will miss you....

Были у меня винилы Razamanaz, Hair of the dog, и No jive. И выступали они в Иркутске видел их воочию! Привет из Сибири!

I was having drinks at a club one night here in Vancouver. We were in a private area upstairs hanging out with our friends who played that night. At some point Dan McCafferty and Darrell Sweet wandered in. Nazareth had a show that same night not too far away and I guess they had some friends there or something. They came over and we had a brief chat. They were both very humble and down to earth. It was completely unexpected. I had seen them live a few times including the live album taping they did here for "Snaz" It's sad that they're no longer with us now.. What a powerhouse of a band they were.

Мне посчастливилось побывать на концерте группы Назарет, когда они в 2009 году приезжали в город Ессентуки, Ставропольского края. Я с трудом добрался за кулисы и Маккаферти оставил мне автограф на фото группы! Это моя реликвия на всю жизнь!❤ Я так от души пожелал ему здоровья и творческих успехов, что он пожал мне руку ❤❤❤ и какая-то интересная и необычная энергия передалось и я тащился целую неделю!!! ❤❤❤ И именно после этого случая слушать НАЗАРЕТ - для меня просто СЧАСТЬЕ. Кто понимает: Маккаферти ЖИВ в его песнях...

Nazareth got soooo many good songs.. and Dan got one of the most powerful and unique voices out there. They deserved to go way bigger. Still my favorite band till this day.

I agree. I was friends with Manny Charlton and been to his house a few times. He was such a humble down to earth guy. He felt he was never really anybody special and not even close to being a super star. He did his own home remodeling and tended to his dogs like anybody else. He loved his dogs! His neighbors didnt even know who he was. (He had a detached studio at his house and would rock that studio) He was a simple guy with no care in the world. I told him that I feared that someone might want to do harm to him because of his status, he said "No way, I am your average Joe" Manny gave me 2 of his guitars a platinum and a silver Nazareth album. I proudly display those in my own studio. He said nobody wants those. In his eyes, they were worthless.

65 year old Canadian here! I have the live double CD of Snaz from back in the 80's. Nearly wore those discs out! Some great music! 😊❤👍

70´s and 80´s had the great Nazareth and their equals, Uriah Heep, Slade, Judas Priest, Blue Oyster Cult, Wishbone Ash, ZZ top, Aerosmith, Scorpions ,the list goes on and on, all of them equally great,equally epic,equally talented. Thank you Nazareth, you are one the the greatest. Criminally undrrrated

Man o man I just forget how great this band was. Seen them live int the 70’s and early 80’s one of the best live acts I’ve seen and I’ve pretty much seen them all.

Now three originals members are together in heaven.

Omg I saw them here in the State 1980 what a show this video takes me back to every minute of that concert and I just wanted to sing like Dan is all I could think from that night. Well that never happened but I sure seen them three more times. My favorite group. In my 70 years have seen , The Stones, The Eagles, Neil Young, Deep Purple, Ten Years After, Quo, Rory Gallagher, Bad Company to mention just a few, people ask me the best concert i attended, easy, NAZARETH 1974 Glasgow Apollo, from the very first number the crowd were on their feet, absolutly mesmerising.

I like this lineup,they sound so full with two guitars!

Rest up my Brother. Terrifying voice! Ultimate in Rock singing

1977 , Spokane witnessed Nazerath , and so did I. Stray up live rock. RIP Manny ,Dan and Sweet.D.

I've always loved Nazareth. Got in trouble for bringing the Hair of the Dog album into school. Principle said it was of the Devil.. Lol lol lol..I've seen them play live at big and small venues in the 80,s and 90,s. Always awesome. Great music to cruise and pick up chicks back in the day. Rock on y'all..
