Malabo na yan overpopulated na ang Manila, mahirap nang ayusin kapag sobrang daming taong nakatira.

It's a shame this plan did not become a reality, Manila could've still been called 'Paris of Asia'. We could only hope that this plan will be picked up again. We should revive all of our past architectural styles and rebuild historical cities, towns, and places to its former glory. Nowadays architecture is boring, too replecated, tiring to see, and a hazard when it comes to earthquakes.

Architect Palafox which is one of our best architects here in our country said "Manila used to be called the pearl of the orient seas, now it's an image of how not to develop a city."

Don't be to harsh because ww2 destroyed the city to rubble and corruption made the temporary informal settlers waiting to relocate to the permanent slums we have today.

Sana itutuloy to ng gobyerno, ang ganda siguro ng manila pag ganito ang capital city ng pilipinas. Para kang nasa europe at magiging unique ang pilipinas sa asya pag ganito ang manila.

Yes Sir Zmod, if only those majestic buildings were build then I believe that people going to work everyday our even those that would visit Manila would have a an added sense of pride as a Filipino. I would uplift the Filipino spirit in each and everyone.

Dinemolish na yung parque malapit sa Luneta kung saan dapat nakatayo yung mga gusali sa Burnham plan. I heared na itatayo na ang Burnham plan! Omg, after plenty of decades. Finally!

I like to think that Daniel Burnham’s Manila exist in another universe.

Kung pumayag lang ang Pilipinas sa plano ni Burnham at hindi tayo nagtangatangahan edi sana nasa mas maayos na ekonomiya tayo ngaun edi sana hindi po tayo parang india ng south east asia sana tayo ang naging pinaka tanyag na bansa sa buong asya ,ang Pilipinas kase pag may tumulong saatin pinapalayas agad natin as if kaya natin magsarile wala sanang poverty areas dito sa manila at kung uulitin man yan kailangan natin i evacuate ang lahat ng pamilya at businesses sa buong metro manila at i nuke ang city para makapagsimula ulit sa umpisa ,so... That's why I think that Philippines didn't accept any opportunity na binigay saatin ng mga bansa sa western world 😢😢😢

so if natuloy pala lahat ng yan and di nag gera edi dapat pilipinas ang isa sa pinakamagandang bansa sa asia.

....yun next president ng filipinas dapat magkaroon ng political will para sa pagpatupad ng burnham plan sa manila...revival ng manila sa glory state...yun intramuros ireconstruct na lahat ng dating old spanish churches,,,buildings,,,schools na nawala at gawin talagang spanish town village for tourist attraction...dapat na iboto presidente ng pinas ay mahilig sa heritage and culture...

Yes sir, maganda po sana ito kung napatapos ng pamahalaan..tiyak marami ang mga taong nanaising makapunta at magbakasyon sa kabisera upang makita ang mga gusaling nakapaloob sa Burnham Plan.

Just think if the war hadn't happened. The majority of the spanish colonial structures and pre-war structures from the american era still present throughout the country. Intramuros untouched by war still around. Had this plan came into reality, Manila would have been one of the most beautiful destinations in the world. Sayang talaga, nasira ng guerra.
