    Yes, no question about it. I whole heartedly agree!! I just found this show and I'm hooked. I need to hear more about this awesome hero's story. All I know is what was just revealed. I need more. But first allow me to humbly thank this man for his service. It Sitka so scary and he perservered and survived and made it home. Wow!! Amazing man, soldier and human!!

    Incredibly brave, humble, smart and articulate person Jason is. I Heard and knew of his story Years and years ago. When people say things like "they fight for your freedom" Jason literally is a real walking talking example of that. Thank you Jason for being among the few at the edge of danger who truly fought for my freedom I promise you I will never take it for granted in return!

    Trust me he's not living a "normal life". He most likely suffers internal cognitive and post trauma from his battles. He served bravely however but he's not free and clear.

    I love the story of Jason almost getting kicked out of the seals and then going to Ranger school and deliberately getting kicked out but got back in and becoming honor gratitude. Great story.

    @@jonathanbrown3042 yeah he almost got shitcanned from the teams for being a terrible officer and almost killed himself but then got a crazy chance for redemption by being sent to ranger school, where he quit. The commanding officer of ranger school talked him out of it.

    Thankyou so much Sir! Your a true hero! And a amazing man! My father was a Navy Seal. And in his later years, a instructor at Coronado. For Seals, and UDT (Frog team) ....He was a real hero as well. Many, many awards. Some people are born for this. Complete total alpha male. (Not easy to have a dad like that, but no regrets. I am who I am because of him!)

    It would be sick if podcasts had regular military guys in conventional units on. I get that people are infatuated with special forces, but conventional unit vets have a lot of crazy experiences and are more relatable frankly.

    You most likely won't read this(and thats okay) I served in the Army infantry for 11 years, then contracting work, then work in 2013 in Jersey helping people during Hurricane Sandy. I don't want to bore you on the list. I also won the spelling bee in 3rd grade. I'm a huge fan and I have nothing but respect for you Jon. I came close to meeting you at a horror con but I had to go help a friend. Hanging out a talking with you seems like a blast man.

    I always knew that Jon was a cool guy, but this puts him in another category that very few actors are willing to be in, he’s got heart. I was in the Navy for 4 years, not special forces but still was deployed twice and this interview makes me so happy.

    I met Jason once at a convention I was attending having just read his story and he was the guest speaker. He told his story from injury through to the troubles he had experienced with his facial reconstruction. He is the real deal! Thoroughly enjoyed speaking with him briefly after his talk !
