I feel just the same National treasure the both of them. Honesty and bravery just shine from them , What an honour it would be to be share a drink with them.
So refreshing to listen to a REAL SEAL talk about his experience, oppose to the fakes Don calls out. Big difference! I'm former Marine. Much respect to you both and all who served and were in harms way .

I'm so glad you filmed this, should be part of historical records of SEALs. Thank you.
I love this guy. You’re lucky to have him at your table.
Notice the calm demeanor, nothing phases someone that's been there, done that. Thank you to the community for keeping us all safe.
Don, that was one hell of an interview. I served in the Army with the 9th Inf Div, in Viet Nam 68-69. I hope that you and Diane do more interviews of Seals and other Special Forces and that todays gen z's watch them to know that service to our country is something to be proud of. Thanks so much for all that you and Diane do.
When I was a kid I used to (reluctantly) sit and listen to my elders tell stories. THEY had ALL of the knowledge that I would ever need. Thank You Diane. loving every second of it 🙂
As i mentioned in part one, it's fascinating that some seals from your era are well known while others like MC Davis are virtually invisible in print. Had no idea This gentleman was a command master chief of so many different entities. Nothing but gratitude and the highest respect.
I rate Master Chief Davis' mustache as a 10 out of 10. I once saw a fellow with a mustache like that shut down an irate / violent airline passenger with minimal effort until the police escorted jack*ss right off the flight. He got a heartfelt round of applause afterwards. Looked a heck of a lot like Master Chief Davis here actually...

I could listen to this man talk indefinitely. Just a wealth of knowledge, and experience.
I’ve loved hearing military stories since I was a kid..It is a huge reason why I ended up joining. Now I’m a vet and still love the stories. God bless Chief Davis and the Shipley family 👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏻🫡
After hearing 1000s phony's this guy instantly you can tell is the real deal. A true GEM. Im sooo glad you were able to do this. His story will now touch Thousands of people.
The clear detail of this hero’s career is light years away from the phonies!
Good stories, what makes it better is that you just know its all true...............
“ when the squirrels come you gotta be ready “ Master Chief Herschel Davis 🇺🇸 HOO- YAH 🇺🇸
Traveling around, videoing these retired men, would be a dream job. Hearing firsthand of their travels through life would literally be phenomenal. Just recording the stories (not just of service), the truth of their day to day. Hell, I would almost pay to have the opportunity. Too long jave we allowed too many heros to pass without recording their histories. What a job.
That is a man I could listen to for hours.
I would love to buy that guy a beer in the bar and listen to his stories that's for sure. Great Part 2 Diane! Thanks for sharing!
One hell of a man's man! I hope he is doin well.
An honor to listen to the Real Deal
Diane, that was a great couple of vids. I got know Hershel briefly down in Panama in the early 90’s. I was assigned to the Boat Squadron TWO “head-shed” and would “visit” Special Boat Unit 26 and occasionally fill in during a Corpsman shortage on some of their Ops. Hershel is definitely a character. Thanks for all that you and Don do. Have y’all ever interviewed Tom Keith? He and I worked together as S.E.R.E. Instructors in Maine and he’s the guy who helped get my orders to the NSW Boat community. Keep up the great work… ~ ~ ~ ”Dirty Boat Doc” in East Texas…
Back in 1976 my Uncle Charlie Angel worked on trying to get me to think about the Seals. I followed my Father into the AF. My Uncle Charlie was a character with quite a few stories. He was the Command Master Chief of the East Coast Reserves😊. Died in 2021. Lived in Rhode Island. He was told to retire when he reached 65.
I would be very honored to buy a few and some more drinks for the three of you. I’ll just tip a glass to your service and be very thankful.
I'm born and raised in North Central Illinois.. I'm ashamed that I haven't heard of this legendary man before.. thanks for sharing
Sorry Dianne, forgot to thank you for all the work and service You do. We Love ya Doll.

Wow, what a small world. I remember meeting the Master Chief in Afghanistan. Phenomenal man! Thanks for posting this. My kids can now put a face to the coins he gave me.
Thank you so very much for uploading part 2!!! I could listen to these guys talk nonchalantly about what incredible men they have been and still are!!! Also rather than hearing a story that's 💩 from a phony seal it's great hearing from a true seal..
God Bless men like Hershel Davis, one of a kind. Damn Few......like him.
I could listen to him talk all day! Great job Don!
JFC, Master Chief. What a life. Thank you Shipley's for allowing us to have a brief glimpse of this mans life.
They say that those that don’t Risk… Never Live… Well I believe that you all have hung it out there and lived to tell!🇺🇸 I am just glad to hear and see you all in the here and now!😎 God bless you All!😇
Master Chief Davis is the coolest BADASS....awesome guy!
I thought I had stories. Two different armies, different wars going from Private to Sergeant and then Private again to Chief Warrant. From the Golan in the Valley of Tears to Cold War. I bow to the Master - Master Chief at that
Thank You Mr. Shipley for the interview. It was so good to hear you 2 chat. Real conversation from real Vets. Good Stuff. All The Way Sir.
Boss!
Best time I've spent online was watching these two videos . Thanks for all you do outing the posers.
I had the pleasure of meeting the master chief in Panama , at the time I worked with NIS and we were loaned to Navspecwar unit 8 at Rodman naval station for a joint mission and had to qualify with the MP5 and assault shot gun and the chief himself was our instructor for two days. Was a good shot for starters but the chief gave me some good pointers and i improved. He was highly regarded by his men and officers. Damn good to hear you sir and greetings from Panamá.
Nice to see you again Master Chief. I had the privilege of serving with you during Beirut Lebanon while I was aboard the USS DULUTH LPD -6. And you personally asked me and a few sailors I was hanging with while we were in Singapore if he could count on us because there was going to be a pretty good size brawl between his men and himself and a shit load of Marines on boogie street. I was never as proud as I was at that moment. Oh, and the Marines got the brown end of the stick that night. 🤟
I Love the Africa story! Been 5X's & and now an Agent for TREK Africa Hunting.
