Me that was (yet another) an " ed" performance - i.e., it was polish-ed, sophisticat-ed and very much appreciated. Shame they don't get bigger audiences. I wish they'd give we Brits a performance they ever float over The Pond!

each one has to auditon for the position and if accepted, they go on to 'boot camp' just like any other sailor and then to their assignment (this is their assignment)

I think it is great for them -- steady pay / benefits, no crazy hours every night, they only tour a few weeks a year, retirement package ...and after 20 years, they can retire and do their own thing -- most have other groups that they participate with when they are off duty.
