Yea was thinking injector pump. Hot restart failure is nearly 100 percent injector pump on the ZDs. The electronics fail on the top. Replacement pump is about 2.5 to 3k, so if you are up to doin the labour yourself its about a 2-3 hour job to replace the pump. Options are barra/ls1/4JJ3/CRD ZD30/QD32/bmw M35 td.

Yeah we were hoping it could be something else but yeah.. it was next on the list... lee doesn't use it much so a petrol option would be the way to go..

@@TinShed Yea if you arent using it much, putting a petrol engine is going to be the cheapest option.

And something better than a zd30...

My brother has a d22 3.0L 2004 and there is no throttle is this a tps problem

I'm not sure on that one, i would get someone to check that out on a scan tool first.
