Local procrastinator wanting to play Stellaris with friends publishes a video because of Steam sale two weeks after said Steam sale ends.
Yes I know it's pronounced Ste-lar-ris not Stella-ris.
Played with UI Overhaul Dynamic + Tiny Outliner Mod:

If you get descion paralysis from the sheer amount of options at the start like I did, try just picking what seems cool and play for 20-30 years. Even playing as badly as new players inevitably do, you learn so much from just a short dive into the game. That way you can make your second game your first "true" game. Great vid Psy!
I have 33 hours logged in Stellaris, but I feel like I've actually learned something? Mostly to not let the AI manage things. Gonna send this to a few of my buddies who thought about picking it up so I have people to finally play with next steam sale. Thanks
I have over 600h total with at least 100h in each major rebuild of the game since I started shortly before Utopia yet here I am. Have definetly grown fond of your video style after bingeing the deathless C&C content
Thank you. I will remember from this video Not making a choice is a choice itself, but... Shit I forgot the rest
Dude, this type of guide video is a bomb. Do more of these!
The Virgin Min-Maxer vs the Chad Roleplayer 🤓🦸 1:15 Yeah, when it comes Paradox games, remember that you can pause and deal with things one at a time. It helps to get a checklist when you're just starting out. ☑
As a fellow 3000hrs logged Stellaris veteran, I appreciate this video I can show to my friends that are simply too confused to start this game, thanks!
Can we get an “Imperium of Man” Run, that’d be dope
0.0 as a stellaris beginner I know I will be referring to this guide a lot in the near future. thanks for such a thorough guide psy! (:
faster than light my beloved (tutorial should have ended after looping this song)
Great video! Would’ve really appreciated something like this for my first Stellaris experience.
Ah, HoI4 but also Civ. I immediately understand it lmao
Just dont get overwhelmed. All those numbers and walls of texts are only there to give you detailed information.
nice to know now~ thx for the guide!
I love the worm too :D
def going to use this video to gaslight my friends to playing stellaris
Thank you SO much!
Not making a cHOICE IS A CHOICE IS ITSELF, but it's the worst one YOU CAN POSibly MAKE!
That's a lot of choices... I wonder if I can avoid making some of them...
You should make a video on the newest machine age update that changed a huge amount of mechanics
One thing you (probably unintentionally) neglected to explain about "digging an archaeological site" is that you must have a scientist assigned to a science ship in order to excavate the site. Also, assigning a scientist with an "Archaeologist" trait will boost the archaeology excavation speed by 25 percent.

Well he did say that you need to assign a scientist to a science yacht to do anything with it
I love Stellaris, but like, on a surface level? I don't understand like, complicated strategies and stuff, I mostly just love the role-playing aspect of it. That said, how would I even start making ships myself instead of using auto-update ship designs? Like, there are SO many options.
WOW bro i guess we do play all the same games!
Algorithms boost
No you turn on auto survey so you can lean back and relax
