Hello from California. My daughter who is a music teacher is also an “international couple” of sorts (I say “of sorts” because my daughter and son-in-law are both born, raised and living in the US but ethnically like you guys) and married to a physician-in-training, and have a 2yo son and a daughter on the way. He wants 3 and she wants 2. There are so much parallels between you guys and my daughter across the Pacific that I just had to comment (first time on YT). I normally wouldn’t listen to the whole vlog this long but did on this one. I can tell he (I didn’t catch his name in the vlog) is very intelligent but at the same time humble and kind, and Jo is life of he party that lights up the room. You guys are a great couple. He clearly has good command of the English language and so I think he would be someone who can be of great service to foreigners in Japan. There are medical interpreter apps for a mobile phone like AMN that doctors can use and AI is quickly developing in every aspects of our lives but there’s no substitute for direct personal doctor-patient interaction to pick up on all the nuances that is necessary for optimal doctoring. You guys have a long and bright future ahead. Congratulations on your babies, good luck on your medical training and career!

He is considering trying to do the conversion test in the future, but it'll be challenging for sure! Definitely going to have to work very hard for it 🤓

    今晩は、ひょうきんあな奥さんが何時もそばに居るから毎日が楽しいですね。ジヨウ奥さんはナンパされる事は多いですか。

It always amazes me how hard he tries and how much he improves all the time! He definitely should have more confidence in his abilities 🤩

It really depends on what speciality he does. But I think even with difficult ones, it cannot be too intense, because the laws here for how many hours doctors can work are very strict. We're currently talking a lot about what his next steps will be in order to have a good work life balance, so we will share the journey going forward 😊
