@@OmfgHiii well they could, they'd just have to share some of their profits, but considering Netflixs previous behaviour with putting profits and idealogical BS before the interests of the content, I'm not surprised that we got fed that absolute rubbish that I just watched, in comparison to what the actual performance is.

Proud of all the ones involved in making this performance happen. You are all winners. The fact that all gave their best, trained to the hardest, is winning in every form. I believe we must redefine what makes you a true Winner. Cheer and be proud of yourself with or without a trophy. The fact that you as a team build a strong friendship, some of them even become family, the amount of joyful moments you share together, all the fun, but also overcoming obstacles and getting stronger as athletes and humans, this is winning. Is winning every single day. You won. Keep on winning.

they had a stunt fall on day 2 and tvcc hit, day 2 worths more than day 1

okay after watching both teams (navarro day 1 and tvcc day 2), i must say tvcc really deserved the win. navarro's stunts were more difficult and executed really well (aside from the one stunt with gill on day 2). however, their transitions and choreography didn't flow nicely. i'm a dancer so that stands out to me a LOT. tvcc's choreography and transitions flowed so seamlessly from formation to formation. navarro's felt kind of choppy and messy in comparison. transition steps make a huge impact on the performance. vontae even said on the show that some easy points that tvcc lost in the past was choreography based. every step and transition matters and as much as i love navarro and wanted them to win, they fumbled the bag with this performance. both teams did excellent but tvcc 100% deserved to win this competition. congrats to them!

Perfectly said. Dancers can see a major difference. Navarro had multiple parts and I couldn’t focus on one thing. I hate how the show made it seem Gillian was the reason they lost. They would have lost regardless

Agreed! But Navorro came for blood the next year. No one could top Navorro this year. Not only did they win. They won Grand Champ and the highest score to ever be given. If you haven't seen it yet. Check it out.

The red uniform stands out so much more. I really think that impacts my enjoyment of their day 2 performance. This uniform just *pops* in a way the other uniform just doesn’t.

Rooted for TVCC and happy they won but the more I watch the more I realize how NC stunts were more complicated and the routine clean. TVCC had more bobbles. TVCC def won tumbling but NC I think did better overall this round. Just learned there was a fall for NC on day 2.

I used to have a coach who was a judge and he told me that typically judges go for routines that are more jam packed. Tvcc’s routine has less difficulty when it comes to their stunting, but overall, they had a lot of moving parts in their routine. You can make up in difficulty points when you have something that is more visually appealing. It’s all about preference too… and then as they always say, it’s so much better to mess up on day 1 then day 2. Day 2 points can make or break that tenth of a point you may need to win the whole thing.

I came here to compare the full routines between Navarro and TC, because Netflix infuriatingly doesn't show the whole routine in the show. I also wanted to see everyone at their best, so I've compared Navarro day one and TC day 2. I wanted to see why TC won. Now I know. It had nothing to do with Navarro's athletes, because, if anything, I thought Navarro had so much more polish on their routine. They made everything look effortless, especially the pyramids (AMAZING). TC did very very well, but with out question, their choreo just blew Navarro out of the water. It was clean, had a strong focus on showing of synchronization, and there were proper sight lines so you could see everyone and what they were doing, it was just perfect. Navarro's choreo just looked.... messy. Not how it was performed, but literally how it was choreographed. It was just really poor at showcasing the athletes. More than ANYTHING the tumbling suffered because they were all going at different times, so no chance to show synchronization, and sometimes felt off the music hits. Mass sychro tumbling just has that WOW factors. If there's any chance Monica can make up with her old choreographer and get him back she needs to.

I wanted to love this routine but TVCC had a routine where everyone was hitting and the impact was felt. Even tho the difficulty of this routine is high it really impacts the performance when it hits and sticks.

People are forgetting that neither Navarro or TVCC took the whole championship. Weber state won grand and they blew everyone out of the water. Epic, legendary routine.

Yes thank you very much for this well appreciated, big kisses and hugs, that's what Netflix should have done, only reason I watch the show with to see the end, it was bloody ridiculous you got to see virtually nothing I didn't want to see people cheering in the crowd, unless of course Netflix had restrictions, you saw more in rehearsals then you did in the actual final.

I was done watching the S2 of cheer and some has internalized homophobia he was invited out to the other team but didn't go there just because he is straight and I get that he wont fit their style but he should have said that "Sorry I'm not going to Navarro because I don't fit your style" instead he said "I ain't goin there. I'm straight." and I'm gay and I know when someone has internalized homophobia

Yup, TVCC totally deserved to win🎉. I love Navarro, but tvcc was better (Jill’s fall didn’t matter) TVCC had the better routine, much better pyramid (what happened to Navarro’s pyramid? Boring and the right side way off.

Watched series then cheer videos, why would Netflix create drama. TVCC did not either mistake on video online, very disappointed in this. Cheerleading is subjective enough without added nonsense. Both teams were awesome, matter of personal opinion as who winner is or was.

Agreed! But Navorro came for blood the next year. No one could top Navorro this year. Not only did they win. They won Grand Champ and the highest score to ever be given. If you haven't seen it yet. Check it out.
