its hard these days to find an absoring concert like this,congrats Amrita murali who knows the proportion and never overdoes anything, be it alapana or neraval ,in every department she came out trumps,and what to say about Patri garu and sriram garu,they are already legends!

An outstanding Concert. Energetic, Emphatic, Exuberant and Excellent. She was in such a great form that not only she herself was fully charged, she also ignited all the accompanying artists around her - Sri R K Sriram Kumar, Sri Patri Satish Kumar and Sri Guru Prasad - whose brimming face throughout the concert speaks a volume about this wonderful concert. From the Opening Guru Vandanam in Hamsadvani to an Exciting Sindhu Bhairavi in the Closing - her journey through a scintallating Aarabhi, a sparkling VaraaLi, a mind blowing Aahiri, a lively Karahapriya which was succeeded by a short spell of Yaman Kalyan - all enthralled the listeners in optimum measure. It would have been Nice had the applause given by the Rasikaas for each of her renditions been duly acknowledged. Just a point of observation. 👍👌👏

her sahitya suddham makes her a great artiste complete in her commitment to her art, i think she really cares about Telugu and its correct intonation, wishes to her to become a sangeeta kalanidhi one day.

It was thoughtful to start with Pahi Parvatanandini, instead of the standard Varnam - literally "set the stage" for the Navaratri Mandapam in Thiruvanantapuram, as an homage to Maharaja Swati Tirunal, really appreciate this gesture... Wonderful concert experience overall...

Vidushi Amrita has very good lyrical expressive capability.The entire team has pulled of a wonderful concert.Patriji is really special!

Excellent concert! Thoroughly enjoyed for 90mts.Amruta Murali along with her accompanists lived upto her high class! Wishing her more success and recognitionin this field!

This is the third time I am listening to this great concert. Very interesting that Amrutha has the little girl voice showing up in a beautiful way all over. Patri is so much glued to the artists - so much concentrating on every twist and turn. What a group! WOW!!

One day- I hope to see this Amrutha + Patri concert live!

Great concert - great ragas - Arabi, Varali, Ahiri, Kesari (as sweet as it sounds), KarakaraPriya, Yamun Kalyan(?), SinduBairavi are the ragas I noted. She is a great artiste. Ravikkai seems old fashioned - 60's - I guess they are coming back.

Sir, Do the world a favour. Would you mind taking down that public comment. As a mark of respect to the Singer as well as other visitors to this vid. No one is trying to police you here. If you still had to, you are better off meeting Smt. Amrita Murali at her family and doing so. Commenting how others feel about her singing in itself is a matter of cautious expression. But did you notice you are trespassing all boundaries ..?!

raagaalaapana is fantastic. accompaniments are superb. my one request to the vidwaans and vidushis - In Telangana (formerly in Andhra Pradesh) Bhadrachalam is there which is Sri Ram deity's place. It is historical. One Maha Bhakta by name Gopanna , alias Bhakta RAma das called by Rama himself on his bhakti. he rendered many keertanas on Rama and Sita which are expressed out of bhakti. He was also like tyagaraja swami. Gopanna's bhakti is different from that of sri tyagaraja swamy. Gopanna's keertanas are very popular in TElangana and Andhra Pradesh. But I am not seeing any body other than telugu vidvans rendering gopanna's keertanas. May I request the vidvans and vidushis to know about these keertanas and render them in their concerts.
