yeah for real, reminds me so much of the days me and my ex baby mama would get high before having my son. We started out drug free, dating when I was 16 and she was 14 turning 15, we had been best friends for many years before and talked litterally every single day of our relationship. Sneaking into each others houses walking miles in freezing snow to melting heat just to see here until she moved in with me. Then we became heroin addicts after a while and honestly we were functional addicts but it was still horrible to do that to our relationship. When she called me saying she was pregnant, I felt so happy. I knew she was my soul mate and that having a family of my own was all I ever wanted growing up with a family that was never together. My family never had loved eachother, but our love was so strong. She got clean for the baby and shortly after I would too. But eventually covid hit and my job of many years got shut down leaving me with no income. We tried our best to survive but my new job couldnt afford the house and eventually despite lies of "rent help" by trump I was evicted. I went homeless/couch surfing while she got to go to her parents. Now its 2021 and I got a apt with a roomate and im begging her every week to please come visit and let me see my son, she kept saying she would and she loved me.... IT was all lies eventually i got a message saying she found someone else and she accused me of cheating although I had never EVER cheated on her. She was my everything, my son was my world too. I lost everything and we were together 10 years, now here I am over a year later listening to this song bring back so many feelings.... Jackie and little Xavier my son.... I love yall so much and I miss you guys, I can't beileve I lost my soul mate. I hate life, it hurts every single day!
