It is disgusting behaviour. No one with a bit of decorum would hug someone they are meeting for the first time, let alone William and Catherine. For goodness sake I would never do that and I think that most people would not hug someone they don’t know. We would say a polite hello and possibly a handshake, and wait for the relationship to grow before hugging.

Princess Mary is the perfect example of a commoner assimilating beautifully to her new roll AND the language part , I have a daughter living in Finland and while not considered Scandinavian the language is really difficult. We’ve had the experience of them having to ring their Finnish friends to translate their conversation with their 3 year old. I am a hugger, but you never assume that someone you are meeting for the first time is the same. A handshake and nice to meet you is fine. It's not about being cold or unkind, it is about respecting another persons boundries, their personal space, and in order to do that you have to get to know them first. I am Italian and we definetely are big "huggers". But no Italian would hang himself on somebody`s neck at the first meeting, when you are just being introduced. That`s something you do with friends. And definetely not, when the person you are being introduced to is the Duchess of Cambridge, even, if she is going to be your sister-in-law. This is just elementary good sense and education. She lacks both, like so many other things.

So true. My son in law is Italian and his mother and I did hug on first meeting. But we had been chatting on WhatsApp for months prior to meeting and we had already formed a relationship. Now I love the hugs and kisses and ciao ciao greetings. But Meghan greeting them that way AND dressed down in ripped jeans and bare feet is not how anyone would meet the future King and Queen. But it was up to Harry to advise Meghan on acceptable behaviour. He didn’t clearly and she probably wouldn’t have listened. You go to join a royal family anywhere in the world, or a President or even a future employer you behave with some dignity. On the one hand she wanted to portray a down to earth Californian with bare feet, but then attended Wimbledon tennis and demanded the whole block of seats around her were cleared. People turned away to satisfy her demands.

Isn't that the truth!! Some of the stills were taken specifically for the horror series, then put in order to look like the love story of the century. The whole series us cut and paste. Someone should write an article about "their truth" and counteract it with "the truth". And it would show that the Oprah Winfrey show was full of lies which were found to be incorrect and this docu series would prove exactly the same. The trouble is that naive people believe their lies. And the people paying them to spout all this venom and nastiness are encouraging them to do so for their own agenda. This should be stopped by harry and Megan being exiled from the UK. Never to darken our shores again. In medieval times it would have been their heads being displayed on traitors gate. .

And The King not passing the title of Duke of Edinbufgh on is not dpite znd the family know that. A different reason altogether. Charles knows there may not be another hereditary Queen of Englsnd for a very long time. And passing the Duchess of Edinburgh, his mother's hereditary title on also must appeal to him greatly. Edward could choose another Dukedom from Shakespeare.

I love listening to Tom Bower, his book is well worth a read. Honest and well researched and, what's more, no sign of a law suit from the odious pair! 😂😂

There are stories going back in time for Markle that finally have a reason to be told.
