Meh I admit Rockstar is an amazing developer but their games are all similar. Shooting, mature themes and open world. They do a great job at it but I don't think they have the inovation that Naughty Dog has. This comes from a guy whose Top 5 game.of.all.time is Red Dead Redemption.

Can we just all agree that Naughty Dog is one of the best game developers of the current generation?

For me there are only three companies I can trust wholeheartedly to give me a complete product that'll blow me away. They are... Naughty Dog, Rockstar Games, and Kojima Productions. These three titans are seemingly always pumping complete, innovating AAA titles each and every time.

There are lots of studios i love to death. But as far as being 100% confident that the game won't fail my expectations, Naughty Dog is probably the only studio out there. Maybe Rockstar (got disappointed by GTA4).

I have grown up with Naughty Dog, from playing Crash Bandicoot as a kid to The Last of us as an adult. These guys are the best developers ever and know exactly what the players want.

This was amazing. Hands down the best studio out there imo. Can't wait for Uncharted 4 & The Last of Us 2! Gonna be amazing :D Thanks for the upload!

@@isatherebel1520 I would say The Legacy of Kain pushed the whole idea of "cinematic" story telling in games before anyone else. Amy Hennig(who started the Uncharted series) worked on all of those games.

Didn't he also help make Sonic? Its crazy to think he is the only westerner to work with an all Japanese engineering group on PS4 and PS5!! One of the few to bridge software development and hardware development, PS5 is designed to be pretty much bottleneck free, and the time to triangle in under a month!! Sony and folks who play on PlayStation are very fortunate to have Cerny!

I've been playing Naughty Dog games dating back to early days of Crash Bandicoot when I was only 5 years old. I never played the Jak & Daxter games, but I heard good things. When I played Uncharted 1, I was hooked, and I'm still hooked. I LOVE the Uncharted series, and when I played The Last of Us, I feel like Naughty Dog opened up a new door for gaming. I felt less like I was playing a game, and more like I was experiencing it, and connecting with the characters. It's like watching your all time favorite movie, except you get to play the main character. Long Live Naughty Dog!

Finally, a reasonable input from a user! I had played the Crash racing game and enjoyed it immensely when I was much younger, but when I played Uncharted I wasn't so hooked. Recently, I got The Last of Us Remastered, and I can say it was more of an experience to me than a game (Like you worded it).

This is a great documentary. Pacing is insane. Whoever edited it knew what they were doing

Amazing studio. The Last of Us is such a great achievement in terms of storytelling that it literally changed my idea of what a game could be.

I think that after Uncharted 4, they should really create another franchise. I really trust in their creativity!

Hackeem Hafkey I would really like them to go back to "cartoonish" style and start a new frachise like Crash and Jak. I kinda got tired of realism after 4 uncharted games (5th one on the way). Maybe make TLOU 2 cuz it has only one entry, but go back to old school after that.

I've been with naughty dog since crash bandicoot on the ps1. Of all games I think I found myself attached to Jak and Daxter the most, I really wish one day they would just do something for it, although uncharted was kind of like a grown up Jak and Daxter, it just lives in your heart

Back in the day i played a lot of Ps1 and Ps2 and loved every Naughty Dog game. But with the Ps3 i switched over to the Xbox 360 because of its cheaper price point and Halo. Now i own a Xbox One and mostly play on it BUT my fav studio is still naughty dog and i love to see them making good games even after this long time. Keep up the awesome work!

Is it just me or Naughty Dog with foot logo represents Crash bandicoot? Every time I see naughty dog logo I remember crash.

I just want an Uncharted collection tbh! Uncharted 1 Uncharted 2 Uncharted 3 Uncharted: Golden Abyss Uncharted 4 Multiplayer beta If this was set for release around April/May 2015 and then Uncharted 4 release around October or at the end of November, that would be dope. And then The Last of Us 2 for 2017/18 :)

The one true aspect of naughty dog that I love is their consistency, same goes for rockstar.

Naughty Dog is without a doubt one of the best, if not THE best videogame developer today.

Massive hats off to Naughty Dog, in my opinion, the best game creators ever, the studio and the team deserve so much credit as they continue to deliver the goods! (Uncharted 4 being prime example) Never stop being awesome and never stop making games, Naughty Dog!

Xiu Greyson I cant imagine the AAA gaming market without games like Dead Space and Mass Effect and Dragon Age, Battlefield, Battlefront, Sims. Even games like Old Republic and Bulletstorm, Mirrors Edge. All good. And they still make great sports games, not all of them are great, but some are really really good compared to their competition

Since my early days as a gamer Naughty Dog was there with me & intoduced me to characters & worlds I'll never forget. Who would've ever thought that pixels & polygons could mean so much for someone, you guys proofed otherwise. A simple thank you is not enough for what you guys did for me, for the industry, to gamers all over the world. But I hope for now it'll do it. Thank you Naughty Dog from the bottom of my heart & hopefully for another 30 years.

Junkbox 101 True Insomniac are very talented. However, IMO they lack the outright consistency to be in the top 10. Games like Sunset Overdrive either outright bored or just didn't make much of an impact. As for kevin oriordan EA and Ubisoft do not develop any games, they publish the games (look up publishing). Those companies may own companies (i.e Ubisoft may own a company called Ubisoft London Development) that develop games.

John Smith I already know the difference between Devs and publishers. When the publishers release unfinished buggy games along with unnecessary microtransations that give them their bad name.

+John Smith remove bethesda they made nothing but cancerous glitches their whole life.. at least new vegas was a good glitch.

Sony made the right choice supporting Naughty Dog.

each and everyday I wake up to make my dream a reality to work for naughty dog. it has molded my childhood and would love nothing more than to give back

Great video. I'm currently going to college for computer science and I want nothing more than to be programing games for Naughty Dog after I graduate. Hands down the best dev team out there simply because of the passion they have for games. Keep doing what you're doing guys!!

Almost makes me feel bad about what I do after watching the whole thing. Almost.

ND is love. ND is life.

Naughty Dog is hands down the best studio out there. I don't know whether they care about the money, fame or anything but i do know is that they care for the consumers, the players and this is truly why they have become what they are today.
