NATO troops in Lithuania🇱🇹 - a response to Russian aggression
NATO is deploying a multinational battalion to Lithuania.
Led by the Germans, the battalion will also include troops from Belgium, the Netherlands and Norway. It is one of four multinational battalions to be deployed along NATO’s eastern flank.
The deployment of the four battalions, agreed at the NATO Summit last year, is a response to Russian aggression including troop build-up along their western border, airspace incursions and the illegal annexation of Crimea.
We visit Rukla Training Area in Lithuania to find out what both military personnel and local people think of the deployment.

I would love to be out there right now. So many nations coming together under one banner. It's amazing.

I am proud to see my country finally getting some attention from NATO. Hopefully soon we will see end of russian agression and prosperity of Baltic states.

The Soviet Union doesn't exist anymore, but the geopolitical goals of Russia are similar. Make no mistake.

Four battalions? Is that all? Russia already has one full division (the 76th Gds Air Assault Division) stationed at Pskov, just 20 km from the Estonian border.

Keep up good work Nato. We must be prepared for Russians if they decide to move. They already attacked Georgia, occupying crimea and attacked Ukraine. That's enough

Because they are ligh and accurate rifle with standard NATO ammo and lots of accessories. Our special forces adopted them too for same squads insted of AK type rifles. You can carry lots of ammo, you have enough firepower... and you have same ammo as all your comrades.
