May you add a Finnish to English translation for Finnish questions and answers? Thank you.

The question was posed in Swedish, not Finnish (the President speaks both). Rough translation: Q: "In a situation where Sweden's application process for some reason is delayed, for example in negotiations with Turkey or due to domestic political reasons, can you see the possibility of Finland going ahead in its application process without Sweden?" A: "Sweden has historically said 'Finland's cause is ours'. So I say 'Sweden's cause is also ours'. That means we go through this hand-in-hand." Finland will not join without Sweden.

Then there is no other way, Turkey has to leave NATO for Sweden and Finland to enter it. There is no time to hesitate for West now, because East is moving very quickly beyond expectations. As a Muslim, I totally agree if West cut off any ties with Muslim countries. No matter how liberal the Turks are they are still Muslims.

It is rather undiplomatic to ask questions in Finnish when the NATO secretary is present in my opinion.

Finland and Sweden have right to join NATO because they are sovereign country.

No, unfortunately not. They have the sovereign right to apply for membership. The whole club has to agree, after that.

The issue was never a lack of understanding on any side. The entire thing is about government of Turkey using the situation to blackmail the US into backroom negotiations to get concessions like purchases of F-16 fighters and readmission into the F-35 program. Also a way for Erdogan to look strong while he single handedly destroys the economy.

Eventually all european countries join NATO. Leaving Russia all alone in the darkness of communism tyranny and entrapment and eventually being left very far behind in terms of prosperity n economic development n education.

It is no longer communist the Russia lol. That said - Russia has been having an identity crisis ever since the times of Tsars - weather to be European or not - even during the times of the Tsars there were people in that nation who wanted to be more European like and others who thought that being Russian is not European, but something even borderline mystifying. Certainly they got a different world view, some of their leaders. But communism is something they do call over there as an 'experiment'. No this time around it is something else. I wonder how far Putin will dare to take it. But perhaps he does not care if the leader has the tittle of a president or a Trsar - he certainly does not care for real elections - so I bet we won't see him step aside when this so called second term is done. I'd say it is something between a 'mock democracy and dictatorship'.
