Nice see that TLDR news becomes an established news organisation

Wild to think that NATO is getting a publicity boost from TL;DR here, and not the other way round, just looking at sub counts 😂

Right? It feels so weird to find out the largest military alliance has a barely known youtube channel hahaha

Great to learn some more perspective from Finland. The conscription system makes a lot of sense there right now. In western Europe we believed that war is a stupid thing of the past and it is a stupid thing to do. But Ukraine is now bearing the costs for this attitude. In Germany conscription become obsolete as the whole Bundeswehr became obsolete as a defense system for Germany. We just had units for small scale activities in foreign countries. Conscription in Germany: it would need a new structure and a new mindset in the society. The mindset is changing but we have in the eastern part still a lot of people who buy into the Russian propaganda. And it will take years to restructure the BW.

The constant "mhm" was kind of annoying, Jacks mic could maybe have been muted when he was not asking questions.

If you don't like it, nobody is forcing you to watch. This is his interview style and that isn't going to change to suit your taste. I suggest you find another news source if it's that annoying to you.

NATO's job is also being challenged by bad actors in its countries as we have seen by the recent arrests of company executives in France of advanced Chips circumventing the sanctions on Russia through 3rd countries. Sanctions unfortunately do NOT really work well when so many countries refuse or cannot participate and so much money is to be made by finding schemes to avoid or lessen the effect of sanctions.
