I’m near Houston. We JUST got power back TODAY and we’re the LUCKY ONES! I mean, my family had a generator so we were fine compared to most but man. We are not ready for a war. Major cities can’t even handle tropical storms! (I realize it was a cat 1 at landfall, but not by the time it hit the city.) People are blaming centerpoint, and they do deserve blame, but also….our infrastructure really is bad. Our politics are really bad. Leadership’s inability to get their sh*t together is REALLY BAD. I really don’t see how America could survive a war honestly, especially if it starts in the middle of hurricane season or wildfire season or snowstorm season… basically ever 😂😭
