I will kill Hoyo myself if they take his helmet and facelessness away, even if just outside of combat. I want my mysterious ghastly hunk 24/7, not only when Im on a battle or in an elemental burst/skill/passive effect. @Emmanuel_Rocha I notices, but I don't think it's tenochtitlan they mean, but the word -tlán in Nahuatl means "place". So I definitely think there's a deeper meaning to what Natlan means. I'd love to look more into it, but I'm just too busy currently for in-depth lore study🥲

Capitano is brother Hanu confirmed. That was the coolest grunt imaginable.

A little think that I want to point out. The pyro archon primary colors are red and black and there is next to capitano a guy were the primary colors are cyan and black And throughout the trailer Natlan fire start cyan and end red. So maybe there is a thing between does two characters

Surprised in some ways they've got 2 Geo (Xilonen and Kachina) and 2 Cryo characters (Chasca and Citlali). They really seem to be emphasizing some different elements for characters in this region. All the designs are pretty great though. Can't wait to get to Natlan!

Their art direction got a massive boost for Natlan. The landscapes look amazing, the characters look amazing. I'm already couldn't wait to get out of fontaine, but after seeing the trailers I'm now double excited!!

If Capitano is playable I'll pull him no hesitation my second choice is Mavuika like her design especially her hair and eyes.

the designs are peak. Citlali, mualani, and himeko are must pulls for me. I imagine the "tournament" is gonna be a massive event with a festival sorta like the Brazilian carnival mixed with Tlachtli. The tone of the story will probably be really lighthearted until mid way into the tournament. Now the pyro archon was shown to be a Phoenix when she went past capitano so it wouldn't surprise me if she "died" during the tourney only to come back later. I highly doubt death is permanent here, hell I'll go a step further into looney town and say the pyro archon and those "eyes" are the same being and she's constantly dying and reviving like subaru from re:zero.

2:47 Mavuika's hair looks like a phoenix from the back! The highlighted bunches look like two wings and the bird head shape starts around the triangle highlights in her hair, which look like a cresent moon shape at this timestamp.

I hope for it, that we will see some kind of Hunger Games Plotline Tournament Story with each of the 6 tribes sending out a Team of 2 to partake in the tournament, which will do an extra 2 teams this time, because of outlanders from outside of Natlan participating this time, that claimed the right to partake, by fulfilling several challenges in all the tribe lands before. The 8 Teams are then: Kachina and Mualani = Tribe 1 Kinich and ??? = Tribe 2 Chasca and Citlali = Tribe 3 Xbalanque and Mavuika = Tribe 5 Xilonen and Iansan = Tribe 6 Capitano and Columbina = Outlanders 1 MC and ???/Character outside from Natlan of Choice or Story given, like say Tartaglia, or Dehya or whoever = Outlanders 2 kind of a smaller version of the hunger games :D cause in the movies theres 12 teams, that that woudl be just too much for Genshin :D That way we could have an epic Hunger Games Story Finish, while the first patches we need to travel naturally first to all the tribes, in order to do successfulyl all the required Tournament Challenges, so that we can qualify us to be able to become a participatign team in the tournament at the end..plus its naturally obvious that we will have to explore Natlan first, and get to learn more about all the tribes... how shoudl we be able to understand this tournament and its meaning behind all of it, when we dont even know anythign about its 6 tribes, what makes them special and why its neccessary to approve amogn them and their challenges, before becoming effectively WORTHY first to participate in the special tournament. The tribe challenges are there to effectively wringe out the weak from the strong, so that only those who are fit, healthy and strong enough for the tournament, participate in it, so that only the best of the best rival agaisnt each other :D

If you look closely only iansan's vision wasnt shown citlali is cryo xilonen is geo chasca is anemo as of mavuika, kinich,kachina and mualani you already know

I'm from Mexico and I think I have enough authorization to send you to eat dirt, the color doesn't matter, the design looks great and we already have hints with the architecture and the names. Also, how important the story is and I think that the story is more identifiable than the skin color. For a long time I identified with Furina and Eula because of their stories about "Not being who you really want" and always pretending and not because they look like I mean, the important thing is in his story and the construction of the character, now go be quiet and stop crying, because surely you don't even belong to what you are trying to defend (Latam, Africa or Hawaii and Australia) Soporta y Callate :U Pndja

I do not know if it is just me, but does it feel like the character designs are a bit too fan servicey ? Like why do half of them have a bodysuit, or like the clothes sticking to them. Additionally, it feels like the design of the archon does not fit the the nation of war, maybe that kind of modern design would fit a fontaine character ? Im sure the archon will grow on me but the rest of the characters feel a bit off.

i watched ultra close (more than once) and was able to determine that Chasca was carrying a cryo vision the second time we saw her. Citlali cryo too btw hers was easier to see for 0.01 seconds, looking to pull both of them Xilonen, Mavuika, oh and of course Mualani! those are my 5 priority chars so far for natlan.... how do i do this being not a whale lol
