Yes, I too was upset to find a place called "Native Cafe," that did not encorporate Native food. I was living with "box on wheels," and making "contemporary" fusion with Native plants... it was a bummer to come across, until I found newspaper articles about Navajo chefs who cook Native foods likened. I am getting really excited to hear about your "chia cafe" collective. I would love, love, love to hear considerations about the relation of that/those concept(s) and ecological health !
