    This is one of THE BEST vids I've seen on fishing in Maine! Some folks are just natural at making vids and you got it. My wife and I tried to get into Allagash Lake through the stream about 8 years ago and the bottoms of our kayaks were pushing mud. The water was low. We gave up and went back. I'm subscribing. Keep 'em coming. We are from the north too.

    Thank you for taking us a long with you two. I'm mad you got all the fish, lol. I enjoyed viewing your fishing trip. Never made it that far north always had 8-10 guys fishing( Munsungan Spelling)-Chase Lake as far as we made it. The stream out had so some many brook trout that you almost be able walk across on them .I like Maine girls outta state girls bad news.

    @@AGirlFromMaine The trip there we took so many years ago - we went ashore around noon and cooked bacon-wrapped brookies with potatoes & onions in foil. A great tradition, and I'm wishing I was back there, right now!

    Great video! You may look at a katadyn base camp filter for your trips instead of lugging water. I run it into a 5 gallon bucket with a lid. Drill a 1/4 on the side of the bucket at the top for the tube and put a water spicket on the side at the bottom. I store stuff in the bucket for transport to maximize space. Keep it up!

    Nicely filmed, beautiful squaretail! This brings back some great memories - fished the same area many years ago. Took a nice togue trolling w/ lead core line in the lake, used the ol' standby - Mooselook Wobbler. Really enjoyed, thanks...

    Ever see any " Strange " animals etc up North there ? We do here in New Hampshire.. all over the place right into Massachusetts. First Nations, Native American friends call them SABAE,, ( Sasquatch , Hairy Man, Keeper of the Forests, Watcher of the Woods, Big Foot etc ) Had some intense Encounters... Stay Safe, Healthy and Blessed my friends. Are there any places to fish if disabled from shore not too far from truck ? I need double knee replacements plus developed Neuropathy in rt foot so difficult to walk now for last two yrs, sucks !! But could be worse. Peace...

    This lakes fishing regulations are ALO (artificial lure only) so different lures that resemble the color of smelt. Silver and blue is most popular

    Why don't you just fish and not show the name of the pond. By posting the name it ruins the pond from overuse and makes a lot of mad for spoiling it.

  • @AGirlFromMaine

    I share the name of this lake because unfortunately it needs more people to fish it, and keep their limit of fish so we can better the brook trout population that’s being overrun by over populated togue. This lake is remote access, so you have to paddle in through beaver flowages from a neighboring pond. It’s also traditional so there are no motors or electric anything’s allowed, not even pedal kayaks. So that’s why I share this lake, cause only the true fisherman will attempt to access, this isn’t for the lazy and weak.

    @@AGirlFromMaine It's also VERY remote. I appreciate them telling the location. Even residents like us want to know. Few people will ever be blessed to experience it.

    Because the Allagash is easy to access and will attract huge crowds?🤷‍♀️ Dude I don’t think the spot burning argument is necessary here.

  • @Twinmapleoutdoors
    @Twinmapleoutdoors24 күн бұрын

    Please leave the fish in the water if your releasing. Bouncing its head on the bottom of the canoe is horrible. if you're going to make videos, please demonstrate the proper way of handling Fish with respect. Burning fishing spots it's not good for the resource.
