Hi Justin, Native is working to get the Biyak ready for the paddlesports trade show in Oklahoma City. Stay tuned!! Thanks for posting.

Old Lady Angler, I’m interested in attending this event. Can you provide more info on the venue please.

@@awesomexistence I'll see if I can get more info but this is what I found doing a google search: www.paddlesportsretailer.com/press-releases/2019-dates
I'm thinking that these are more "Skiff" than "kayak".... But whatever you want to call them, they sure look like they would be about right for fishing! I'm not giving up my 17 foot canoe of 45 years though.. :)!
The Biyak needs the propel drive if it really wants to compete with the Jackson/Blue Sky Boatworks offering. I would not give it a second look until it has a pedal drive.

Exactly. It also needs more storage for the size. A removable storage platform on the back and a pedal drive would make it worth looking at
11 foot Biyak with swivel seat and pedal drive would be nice for the areas i fish in. What happen to the original fin type drive Biyak had for this.
Sweet! I'll take 2 of each, thank you. Haha!

Ditto! I liked BIYAK last year even. I knew it got bought out but didn’t remember NATIVE acquired it. I think we will see them do cool stuff with it.
Some of the kayaks had a cart attached. What is the story with that?
👍👍👍
I wonder whatever happened to this biyak. I guess native dropped it. Kind of wish it was still around.
Great with a trolling motor I bet. Get a swivel seat and it would be better.

Mike Palmer I agree. A swivel seat to me is a must for versatility. Hope they incorporate one.

KayakDIY have you ever checked out the brand named Nucanoe? I had a 12' frontier from them with a trolling motor setup. It was a great fishing platform. I highly recommend them.

Mike Palmer I own one. I bought it damaged on Facebook marketplace. It needed plastic welding due to being store by hanging from handles. One of the handles ripped out. Easy repair. They are very nice kayaks. You can find my nucanoe in one of my Bixpy videos. I tested a transom Bixpy Mount with it.
I’m feelin this shit!

Where can I get a peddle drive system to buy ????

Just the pedal drive? You can buy that direct from Native or any dealer.
Did you see any of the lifetime Yukon kayaks down there

No, but I think I saw Lifetime Yukon at Sam’s Club this past week or so. I would put that kayak up against the Sun Dolphin Boss 12 or Ozark Trail Pro Angler. Not likely a 10-20yr quality kayak, but budget friendly and will definitely pay for itself in terms of fun for the money. It also depends on how well you take care of it and if you can make simple repairs should you damage it. Basically from what I saw it has cheaper hardware and maybe a little softer/thinner hull. However, it has a wheel in the keel so you shouldn’t have too much to worry about in terms of wear. The company that makes the highest quality budget friendly paddle kayaks is Perception. That is my non-bias...non-sponsored opinion.

I have one of the Yukons. For the money I dunno if you can beat it. I picked mine up on sale for $400 from a place called Blains Farm and Fleet. I did pull out the rod holders and put marine goop around the hole for them and the screws that hold them in. They dont have a gasket around them so a very small amount of water can get in. And I mean small amount. I also added some to the screw holes that keep the gear tracks held in place. The hardwear can be upgraded pretty cheaply if you want to. Or if something wears out. You can pick up parts on amazon or from an app called ali express. Kind of like a chinese amazon. Its also a very stable kayak and the seat is super comfortable. And if you ever need to replace the wheel in the keel or the whole keel its self it is made to come off and you can get replacement parts.

Jason S I agree. Looked like a great value. I see it as a buy.
Titan is sweet but don't want the pedal. It takes up to much space around the feet
Mashaallah, ❤️
Native discontinued the Titan 13.5 unfortunately. The 12 is just ok, but it leaves much to the design imagination.
Awesome, how much ? Thanks

Look at my other video on BIYAK from last year’s iCAST. At the end I show BIYAK’s old website which had prices. It might give you an idea on pricing. Pricing might be similar even though NATIVE took over BIYAK. NATIVE doesn’t have official pricing yet since they are still playing with the project. That was what I was told.

KayakDIY okay thanks for the information
Alright...watched the last 4 vids and you need to EQ the level of your intro to match your voice. It’s entirely to loud. As for your content it’s great.

I agree. I cranked out the last 4 videos in one night after pulling 24hr-48hrs awake and trying to watch 6 month old screaming. 😆 That is life of a KZreadr. Not always as glamorous as some make it out to be. However can’t imagine doing anything else I didn’t EQ well at all. Each mistake I make is an opportunity to learn.

chesval chill out man. It’s called using your volume control. I have to speed edit 20+ vids at events like this. Not to mention deal with third world country internet speeds in Orlando...all so I can provide you with free videos to complain about. I can’t change intro volume once it has been uploaded. I noticed it after multiple uploads and the last videos got reduced volume.
Only criticism I can give is that your into is loud. Uncomfortably loud when compared to the rest of the video.

Bill S thanks bud...I noticed after upload. I fixed in latest iCAST video after several “now deaf” viewers told me. 😆
