Tongva artist and scientist Samantha Johnson joins Lost LA host Nathan Masters and trail guide writer Casey Schreiner on the Gabrielino Trail near Switzer Falls in the San Gabriel Mountains to explore the origins of hiking in L.A. - starting with the Tongva tribe, whose ancestors collected and cultivated native plants and helped steward the land before the Wilderness Act required that it remain untouched.
