@@dareemmanuel6079 the £200 bank switch you cannot get again if you have got it since 2021 (since you are obviously gaming the system and not likely to use Nationwide more frequently). The £100 is basically a loyalty bonus/dividend so they have no problem with paying this every time they feel like it.

Have to mention seeing all those disappointed with NW comments, its free money so there will be conditions! Atleast they are doing this which many others don't! Definitely disappointed if you don't get it, but their conditions were fair i thought!

If you use them for everyday banking you are getting rewarded. If you are abusing certain things from them, you get diddly squat - fairplay nationwide

Me and my dad both got the £100

Hi Andy, I switched from a Nationwide flex account to Lloyds a few months back. I still have my flex graduate account which is a qualifying account. Am I still eligible for this deal if I closed a flex account and then look to open another one back up or should I open a different account just to be safe? Thanks

Hi, quick question... What if I have a joint Flex account and a joint mortgage account... will we only be able to do it once? (Therefore max £200?). Or can we both do it, perhaps me on the Flex Account and my partner using the Mortgage account? Also - does the bank we are switching from also have to be a joint account, or will a personal one be fine? Thanks for your help

Just spoke to NW. With a joint account who benefitted from the bonus recently, I cannot get the bonus on a personal account

I tried it and got told by nationwide (during their soft credit check) that I'm "not allowed to open another account with them based on my previous history using their account." 😂 Lol, fair enough Nationwide well played

you don't have to open a brand new account to get the bonus, just switch from another bank into your existing account and you'll get the £200 :)

@@louismiles2340 they've also blocked the switch in feature on my current account (which had 1p sat in it for months) That's why I was trying to open another account to circumvent it, sadly they're smarter than some banks

They already have to be set up and have one payment taken before switching

I've been with "The Cheshire" i.e. Nationwide for 20+ years, and I've only just caught on to this dividend reward today! I've only ever had a building society / ISA, not a current account. I've set one up now and also the member's 18 month fixed term saving account. Pretty p'ed off I've missed out on the £100 though. So when you switch accounts, do you have to close your entire bank account with the the other people, or just the current account? I have a save to buy ISA and a digital saver 6.5% with natwest and don't want to lose them if I switch?

You need to do a switching service from.another provider to nationwide to receive the 200. You'll have to check what your terms are with natwestv

@@Goady1000 Well, I just set up a plum DD and deposited £1 to may PP account... let's hope those payments go through as DD in the next 3-4 working days and I'll go for it!

If I have just set up a number of direct debits but they have not yet been debited on the account I am going to switch over into nationwide will it still work?...

Haha! It’s the ‘must open or already have a current account’ but I thought it was only open to current customers? Then it says the old account must be from a different bank? So yeah.. confusing!

They're both the same rate. You can only manage the online one, online.

With the Nationwide Building Society 18 Month fixed savings account paying 5.50% interest, do you have to wait the whole 18 months to receive your interest payment on a maximum savings of £10,000?

All you need is a current account and savings of more than £100 , hardly “full of hoops” lol

@@Narrowsplice Unfortunately you have failed to read the deal correctly, in addition you have to hold a savings account or mortgage with a 100 in or owing along with a flex account etc to get the 100cash. A regular banker will not get the 100 if only holding a current account.
