OMG, I'm loving Jose Iglesias on this team. The guy is a real pro, who loves the game and appreciates the opportunity to play in the major leagues. He and Torrens were really nice moves by Stearns this year.

It’s because he’s playing expectations free. If you were to sign this guy long term he would disappoint. That being said being a role player off the bench is something every team needs if they wanna win and that’s David sterns assembling the right players

I watched Iglesias play a couple years ago for the Rockies. He played shortstop and I absolutely love him. He's a real spark plug for any team he plays on. Very talented infielder and consistently gets on base with clutch hitting. He's one of my favorite players in the league and the Mets are lucky to have him.

These teams have played each other a lot in the last month or so and Mets continue to dominate the Nats, now 7-2 on the season series. Gotta feel for Corbin who goes out there every fifth day just to get no run support and take the L. Despite winning the world series in 2019 with the Nats, it seems since then Corbin just goes out there and takes a beating every fifth day
