I don't affiliate myself with any political party, but he has a point. On this day Malema made a point: We as the people have power. And we should start taking a stand. Not as a political party but as a nation.

He is clever. He speaks of the things he knows people want to hear and paints himself and his party as the saviours. He is more corrupt than the ANC. Ask him how he used his Ratanang Trust in the name of his own child for money laundering, On-Point Engineering for Tender fraud. Defrauding the Revenue by not filling in his tax returns, the VBS scandal which him and Floyd looted and his jumping into bed with Guptas and the gangster Mazotti who runs the criminal underworld. What a role model to be president ❤

Whether we believe it or not, this guy is representing all of us! We can't argue with results: Under Ramaphosa, we're now greylisted. Loadshedding affected all of us. Crime stats have soared really high. Tax is crazily high with no basic service delivery, and unemployment is terrible. He might not be our most favourite leader but this shutdown has put necessary pressure on the governing party. ANC should govern, do better or go. 2024 is going to be interesting! May this protest continue to be peaceful. Great work, Julius you have represented the cry of all South Africans.

Malls are open and no people to buy - he has succeeded in his plight We need such, when the people we vote into power become arrogant and self serving! As it stands: 1) your cousins, friends, nephews, sisters etc don’t have jobs 2) It’s a reality that if you are a girl, or your daughter, or female friend etc you are at risk of rape or sexual assault in SA 3) It’s a fact that you, your family, friends etc are at risk of hijackings, theft etc Police are nowhere, if you try and open a case, they will do nothing 4) it’s a fact that over 20k murders take place in SA annually, Senzo, AKA for example will never get justice So this shutdown I support, we need a country where things work! The fact that there is very little traffic On the road and malls are empty is a huge success!

That's the thing. The majority of people kept on supporting the corrupt, incompetent and parasitic ANC throughout the Arms Deal, Chancellor House, the Gupta period, Bosasa, VBS, SAA, Transnet, Petro-Sa and many more ANC feasting orgies. Now, after many years, they are "tired" . But it is their own fault. No "revolution" would be necessary if we just use our brains and do the right thing.
@scar8907
Жыл бұрын
Revolution is never the answer unfortunately, the abused always become the abuser, the oppressed becomes the oppressor, history will just repeat itself as the ANC has proved this, I agree that a revolt is on the horizon, but the real change needs to be, and this is a stretch, we need leaders that actually want to lead, with a vision of a better tomorrow not for some but for all, leaders that can recognize that greed ultimately backfires, leaders that use history to shape a better future, not use it as an excuse for revenge, but these things are wishful thinking, at the end of the day, if you are a grown up, you don't need a 'president' to tell you what is right or wrong, have laws that are justified and let people govern themselves

Hai hi, where! In my hood taxis were not many because people didn’t go to work Traffic was nowhere, it took me 20min to drive from Honeydew to Midrand
Very impressive big up to the FIGHTERS ✊ enough is ENOUGH 💪
Well done! Malema.
Julius malema I'm in the SA ARMY I kindly respect and appreciate your effort sir you are the best political leader long live to you
You are a star ⭐⭐⭐ Mr president Malema we support you our president from 🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼 we love you urge Chamisa to be like you tell him power does come without demonstration
I'm so impressed! Eff has always been for action and for the people !! Viva Malema Viva EFF
❤much Love Baba Malema Same think we did in Kenya, 20th March Be remembered. Afrika UNITE
Salute CIC
I am very impressed with how peaceful EFF to protest, and did so in such an orderly way, i mpressive and much needed to highlight the big problem we face in South Africa.
He deserves his respect...lion of SOUTH AFRICA.
Our leader is talking ✅✅✅ We are proud of you Juju❤
He is not here to prove which businesses are open or closed, he is here to fight against crime, corruption, load shedding, gun violence, discrimination, GBV and lots more. Please stay focus on the purpose
Africa please protect this man and so much more of our African leaders who are becoming more enlightened for a brighter Africa. One love 🇯🇲 🇯🇲
I see most are happy and feel represented by the EFF…so don't forget to VOTE FOR EFF COME 2024…
Your big reward is coming ahead for your big effort MR President.
A very powerful message appropriatly delivered by a highly motivational and intelligent leader
Best wishes for this demonstration.
*Malema is making things happen.*
I think we need to take into account that many businesses have closed not in compliance with what the EFF has said but because they were concerned about the fear of looting and it was just not worth the chance

Not just that he is taking credit for people having long weekends which has always been the case before Malema's "shutdowns" they haven't shutdown anything they have only taken advantage of a long weekend for optics and the people he targets are ignorant youth and poor people because they are the most susceptible to his rhetoric considering their position.

it's doesn't matter, as long as they are closed, that's suits the intentions of the EFF.

Of course, some just took advantage of tomorrow's holiday. EFF chose this day on purpose, only fools don't see 👀 that
What a peaceful shutdown I take my hat off to the EFF and those that supported the initiative. I'm voting EFF come 2024

Don't salute eff as yet the only reason it was peaceful..... Because the police were out in full force.... And the people were not going to sit back and allow them to create havoc...... In any of their places of residence and workplace........ I salute the people who have had enough of chaos and distruction.......

@@nataliedelucchi2026 I didn't want or ask for your input or opinion so keep your opinion for yourself... the very cops are nowhere to be seen when 82 people are killed and 1000+ women are raped daily and a R1billion is stolen monthly at ESKOM. You're even blind to see that the police and soldiers are a unnecessary intimidation.

Dream on! Malema is the ANC’s puppet. Otherwise the ANC wouldn’t have allowed his face to be all over, every single ANC controlled media outlet. Let that sink in.
