National Science Centre Delhi is the largest Science Museum in Asia and is popularly known amongst its visitors as, 'A Dream Castle For One And All'. It falls under the ministry of culture and is situated at Pragati maidan close to Gate No 1, overlooking the famous Purana Qila. The National Science center has given birth to some of the most intelligent science scholars.
It was inaugurated on 9th January 1992 by Sri P V Narasimha Rao the then Honorable Prime Minister of India.
The National Science Centre aims to promote scientific and technological learning in an informal environment.
