The National Polka Festival is an annual event. Ennis TX is the center of a Czech community who's ancestors immigrated to this country in the late 1800s. The event features a parade, multiple bands, 3 dance halls, bands and food spread over 4 days. Each year a king and queen are selected as part of the festivities.
