This is the second restoration project I have seen on this channel and both times you have changed the copper wire, very interesting as ti must take some time to get it correct.

Mr. Electricity as far as i know this is the only restoration channel where the restore includes completely re-spooling and rewiring the electric motor the way you do and i love that you do it. it amazes me every time and i enjoy watching you work .

1:44 Some lousy person installed a poor quality capacitor without shielding the bare wires. 14:18 The copper wires extend outward too far from the stator. 16:44 no gear grease? 18:46 Where are the original knobs? Using different knobs ruins the fan's vintage aesthetic. 19:45 Blade needs balancing.

You sir did great paint and re winding but missed many important steps. Added no oil in the oil ports of the motor, just few drops around bush. I have noticed in many of your videos you haven't added oil in oiling ports and grease in gearbox, HOW COULD YOU MISS THOSE!!!!!!!!!!!🤔🤔🤔🤔 No oil in oscillation shaft. No grease in oscillation gears. Blades are imbalanced. Although it got a second life but considering the facts above and nothing the originality not maintained I give you 5/10 in the restoration project.

Its not even using the original cover (oh yeah and also why you rewinding the motor? I dont think your own winding will last that long..that original winding just need to be tied up and revarnished,,the old winding is more thicker and very heavy duty,,and hopefully when you got another vintage like this i recommend you do not rewind it ok
