Male ego? These horses plow fields for making your food on the regular. Competitions are just to prove they're amazing at what they do. Ego has nothing to do with raising a stunning animal.

merry yesri Agree. Have any died while pulling? Some poor horses are straining, pulling those sleds with all their might. Why is this a sport? 🐎

@@kathydoyle9939 “have any died while pulling”? Is this a serious question? That’s like asking if ppl die while exercising. Lol These horses are doing what they were bred to do. They probably get better care than you do. Try getting outmof your house more often.

@@swashington942 I've seen a YT of a white draft horse that had pulled a heavy load. It had looked like the horse had used every ounce of muscle to move it. Pulled muscles, strained muscles, sprains. (That's why I'd asked re injuries.) If a sled ever had too much weight for a horse to pull, that's where I wonder if they'd get hurt, trying to pull it. 🕊 I know draft horses are built to work, and are happy pulling heavy things. 🐎 Have you seen the YT where 4 young sisters (granddaughters) get up on a draft horse, using a ladder? 😉 😊 peace 🕊
