My pastor told me that he had watched the first two episodes of The Chosen and he highly recommended it. I watched the first two and I ordered the DVD. Not being able to be present for the Triduum and Easter Sunday was so painful, but I was given so much grace and peace watching this show. I was drawn so close to Christ during that time. The characters are so wonderful and the filming so perfect. I loaned my dvd's to my sister, but she is pretty slow so I may have to order it again so I can watch them again. I have urged everyone I know to watch this show. It is hands down, the best thing I have ever seen in my life. God bless you all!!

Johnathan has been busy with God's timing and ministry. Awesome. I can relate with feelings when you hear children praying to God their heavenly Father with Jesus Christ , I taught CCD third grade catiechiem catholic classes first holy communion for my Church. Yes it was beautiful to see and listen to them pray and praise God in the holy Spirit so awesome and touching in my own heart as well. Knowing God loves them so much!!! I really enjoyed that scene in The Chosen as well. Johnathan said the perfect words to them!.

I just watched this video, over a year after it had been published. It’s so beautiful to see such an open conversation about one’s faith journey thus far. Jonathan does so well with the role, that some of us are very curious about his faith journey. I’m also curious about the writers’ faith journey and have seen a little bit regarding their journey (will see more in the future). However, this was of great interest. I live in a small town in Northern California, Lakeport, on Clear Lake. Almost 40 years ago, our Irish priest at the time - Fr. Philip Ryan, co- wrote, co -founded (with another Irish Priest, Fr. Paul) and began producing and directing an all volunteer cast in an outdoor production of the Passion Of Christ held every year on the third weekend of May. I was in my 40’s when they began and I joined the cast and was selected to portray Mary Magdalene; and I played her up until 3 years ago, so over 35 years.The setting is on a terrain of beautiful lush hills just north of town which was originally land lent to us but which we (The Lake County Passion Play) ultimately purchased several years ago to be used exclusively for the Passion Play. We have brought in as many as 3,000 in one day to this also “free” magnificent portrayal complete with costumes, animals, a chariot and three outdoor stages which we built- and music - rain or shine every year (except last year due to the Pandemic.). So I know the “feeling” you are experiencing, of living the part 2000 years ago, following Jesus to his death and then his glorious resurrection. But what I really want to convey to you Dallas and Jonathan, is something our now deceased Irish Priest used to always tell us; I hear you striving to reach millions around the world with your production as we do to reach just thousands every year, when in actuality Fr. Ryan would say, if you reach just ONE, if you save just ONE SOUL, if you bring just ONE person to Jesus with your production, you have accomplished a miracle. Please hold that thought and make it your prayer. It is a wonderful portrayal, I’m watching the first season for the second time and have told many about it... Awesome interview Jonathan and explaining how you were chosen to be on the Chosen as Jesus Christ as his character in the tv series to reach out with scripture telling the life story of Jesus Christ and the disciples as they were in scripture . So wonderful and so healing and such a revelation to others to seek God for themselves in the bible in church in Bible studies involved in prayer meeting s also. Seek the Lord while He is still near quote unquote in scripture. Said by Jesus Christ himself. I believe . Or one of a disciples.

I truly love Jonathan and find him to be soooo refreshingly genuine as a born again Catholic. only beef I have with the camping scene: Jesus wouldn't have been out in the open by himself (not safe)--he would have camped in a cave--no question about it...dts/usa

I do however will give him the benefit of the doubt until the shows become more known but as I have seen so far not sure how he can say what he said and defend his choices as of late.
