I know most of you watching this are too young (I wasn't even born yet, myself), but the logo @6:30 is the start of the very last NBC episode of The Howdy Doody Show, a puppet show on NBC from 1948-1960. Both the B/W and color versions were in reruns on local stations until almost 1980, and I watched them as a little girl in the '70s.

Disney didn't own Pixar until 2006, that was way before that. Until then they could contract anyone they chose (and paid for it), including Disney...

You and I know Silvio Santos (Founder of SBT and its' CEO and star master-of-ceremonies for many years) "stole" that campaign (and the following one) from NBC, as Brazil wasn't into international copyright compliance until like '92. BTW, the SBT logo is a variant of the ABC-US logo (1962-2021, before Disney changed the font on the letters); in later years they changed the colors and the textures from that of the US network. Later on, SBT did buy a campaign from ABC-US.
