"Ukraine’s glory hasn’t perished, nor freedom, nor will!"
The lyrics of the Ukranian national anthem almost seem to have been written for this very moment. In the face of the Russian invasion, I decided to create an arrangement of the State Anthem of Ukraine (Державний Гімн України), in the spirit of solidarity with the people of Ukraine!

The Ukranian National Anthem was composed by Mykhailo Verbytsky (Михайло Михайлович Вербицький, 1815 - 1870), the lyrics were written by Pavlo Chubynsky (Павло Платонович Чубинський, 1839 - 1884).
Officially titled "State Anthem of Ukraine" (Державний Гімн України, Derzhavnyi Himn Ukrainy), it became known under the first line "Shche ne Vmerla Ukrainy i slava, i volia" (Ще не вмерла України і слава, і воля), which translate to "Glory and Freedom of Ukraine Has not yet Perished".
The national anthem of Ukraine is a powerful hymn, and it sounds amazing on piano!
