"Aegukka", officially translated as "Patriotic Song", is the national anthem of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, more commonly known as North Korea. It was composed in 1945 as a patriotic song celebrating independence from Japanese occupation and was adopted as the state anthem in 1947.

This is a very powerful version of "Aegukka (Patriotic Song)". The best version of the national anthem of North Korea that I have ever listened to. I like the heavy percussion feature at pre-verse and at chorus and the heavy choir feature that joins in at chorus repeat.

It is the first time that when listening to an anthem of a country I think that I am listening to a mixture of sounds without meaning, it seems that they have never listened to an anthem of another nation to know the attributes that one should have, at least it seems that in minute 2: 00 they learn a little until 2:15 when it sounds absurd again with a choir singing and a very high-pitched voice behind spoiling the choir
