hijibijbij ** he just simply cannot understand English. There is no requirement in English for being a solider in China. In Shanghai, English are taught since Grade 1. However, in many SMALL inland cities and remote area, English are taught since Secondary school.

Yea I too was wondering the same our people were very happy to see him, have conversation and shake hands with him. Well they liked him. That is the biggest problem with Indians they want to make friends with everyone. But yes sometimes its not possible, since we can't expect that other side also has the mindset.

If he is from China, we are from India, not Kolkata Tamil nadu Bihar...Chinese do not consider us friends.

parna paul the difference is that China is nearly a homogeneous country, most of its population speaks Mandarin as well as varies of Chinese dialects. India is much more diverse.

I visited here a month ago, man lot has change , I can say that our relationship are very bad now . Golden days man . Now no phone clicking are allowed and if you click you will never get the phone back , then all diplomatic room are now closed there , no Chinese army stand there's now and sometimes now there are gun fires also. Man , I sometimes really think did we need a strong leadership or the development . I now think congress should have continued . Sad . But hope for good.

Our leadership is best right now china is busy in their expansionist policy, they have humiliated and belittled us a lot in their news outlets during congress govt, now they that they have seen dokalam and galwan they will not advance in India, we did the same in 1967 which helped china stay out of the 1971 war. Our Foriegn politicy has never been so good

You have to take a car from Gangtok, Sikkim for going to Nathula..But prior to that you have to get permission..Nathula is located at Indo-China border in Sikkim...
