I remember looking at my phone about five years ago and realizing it was four in the morning. The instrumental of "Light" was finally all scored out on garageband and I had no idea seven hours had passed. Fast forward to 2019, I didn't change the instrumental one bit. Yes, that's definitely one of your best songs, like Kiss Under The Rain, where the instrumental is simple, but still beautiful. However, in Light it sounds really good. In my 19 years I can't literally write any instrumental and I'm amazed with people who got into this like you, Nathan. Thank you for keeping improving. Sending love from Lviv, Ukraine 💕

Seriously do not understand how Nathan is so underrated, every single song is just this soul-pounding cacophony of *feeling* layered on top of a gorgeous voice and an instrumental that somehow feels perfectly suited for both a blockbuster trailer and a room of meditating monks. It gives me this vibe that you dove into the sea to rescue someone who's drowning. And than you realize you can't breathe under water. But you refuse to let the other one die so you continue going down. And even though the waves are wild under water everything is calm, and you have this light from above calling you both back.

I listen to several rock bands, dating all the way back to the 70's, and I've never heard any song like this one before. ITS PHENOMENAL!! It ranges between heart felt emotions and a light orchestral accompaniment, to a strong clash with intense guitar playing and a heavy emphasis on lyrics. I love this, the message, the repetition of "let there be light" - it gives it a sort of biblical ring to it, like most Gothic / hard rock bands like to do. This is just so beautiful! The image fits the song so perfectly
