About Conversations for a Cause:
Nerd HQ wouldn’t be the same without our ‘Conversations for a Cause’ Panels. Each year, we work hard to bring you the most entertaining personalities in the most intimate settings possible, giving you the opportunity to learn more about your favourite artists of movies, television and gaming. All proceeds from the panel tickets go to charity.
To that end, The Nerd Machine is committed to our partnership with Operation Smile, a charity that believes every child suffering from a cleft lip or cleft palate deserves exceptional surgical care.
Every year, our ‘Conversations for a Cause’ panels and the ‘Smiles for Smiles’ photo activations help raise awareness and donations for the charity. So good. They had me laughing my head off. Also super surprised, pleased and amazed that Joss turned up live streaming. Hats off to him for doing it. (And yay for the tech holding up)

As far as nerd panels go, I never thought anyone would be funnier that Nathan..............then I saw Joss.
The Nerd Machine if you would add the actors participating at the panel to the descriptions more people would find this video.

"Face-time" scared me away the first time I saw the thumbnail, so yeah. Maybe tell us live talented people are still there.
I haven's really seen Joss before, but he's kind of a BOSS :D

Phillip Puryear they cut and post these within minutes of them finishing, so they can't quite cut it all. also, they frequently expect to start sooner than they do because of various delays behind the scenes that the camera guys don't always know about when they start recording. it's a minute - it won't kill you
i want to be at one of Joss' parties :-(
Poor Joss...he is so tired and worn out. I hope he gets to take a long break.

I think The Nerd Machine is big enough where it can have another 3 day event every 6 months...... once a year is not enough lol
I am heartbroken to have missed this, and the e-music is making my ears bleed because I am old and not so hip. I hope you'll post a recording soon. :-)

Don't know if you have seen GoTG yet, but Fillion was quite literally a blink and you'll miss it character. Don't think he was even credited.

neechee007 Ooooh, that makes a lot more sense. But her death was sooo crucial to Season 6 and Dark Willow so.... That would have really changed the whole show.

kingofthecities What I've heard is she wasn't available. ALSO, I also heard there were plans for an episode in which Buffy was granted a wish or something, and over the course of the episode she'd wonder what to do with that wish and by the end of the episode she'd be talking to Willow and say something like ''I finally used my wish'' and then Tara would show up. Not sure if I got the details right, but I heard that was the general idea on how to bring Tara back. But, again, Amber wasn't available, so we got Kennedy instead... :(

No, wait, rather, I'll copy-paste it for you: ''While speaking at the Wizard World Chicago Convention in August 2004, Joss Whedon claimed that he had planned to bring Tara back from the dead at the end of Season Seven. According to Whedon, the episode would have centered around Buffy being granted one "life-altering" wish. Buffy would have spent the whole episode trying to decide what she wanted to do with the wish (including, possibly, restoring Angel's humanity). The episode would have ended with Buffy telling Willow that she'd just gotten a great new pair of shoes, and when Willow asked her if she used up her wish on new shoes, Buffy would have said, "No, silly!" and stepped aside to reveal Tara. It was intended to be set exactly a year after her death. However, this plan was abandoned when Amber Benson was unavailable for filming. At the 2007 Comic-Con, he referred to this idea as well.[37] In addition the Season Eight issue 6 letters page hinted that Tara may be involved in an upcoming comic.'' So there you have it! :p

I felt bad about the Rebecca Gayheart story. Maybe I have to be an actor to appreciate it, but telling a story about someone else getting fired isn't cool.

It's not about what is cool or isn't cool, the question was tell about an intimidated moment with Joss, and if that situation was Nathan's moment of being really intimidated, then he should be allowed to say it - it wasn't like he was revealing some big secret or bashing the actress - the story just happened to have involved her name being mentioned but it was about Nathan so he's telling a story about his own feelings
This is awesome but Seth is the SHIT
Here you can see Joss overworked, Kevin Feige using him and telling him only what he wants(even though Joss made the avengers possible) and his respect for DC. Then he just tried DC and they gave him a basically useless project(polishing someone else's work) and useless fans accuse him of destroying it.
That poor girl's face when they were talking about the gangbang! She was like, "What?! But not entirely opposed to it."

I keep thinking to chloe "giiiirl, watch iiiit, watch it!" like, you know, when you try to save your sister or one of your girlfriends from accidentally showing a little TOO much in public, that's how i feel, i'm like "chloe is ma friend, gotta watch out for her"!! haha oh gosh i'm watching and cringing--hope she learned her lesson from this, that would be way too embarassing, i think. But on another note, why didn't the guys (or fellow woman) say anything??? You're supposed to look out for her, she's [Whedonverse] family! :) (don't be pervs, fellow commenters.) PS-Alan Tudyk
