Was fortunate to be able to be at the 2022 nationals in Nashville. Everyone who was there were going nuts with the step sequence at the end. Just an incredible performance overall. Still get so much joy watching it a year later.

It's been awhile since I've seen this, and I forgot just how light and joyful it really was. It's unfortunate that he singled the 3F. But it didn't take away from the overall performance.

Yeah: Nathan Chin is totally outstanding.

You can pinpoint the moments he knows he’s got the gold and let’s himself go! So joyous !

Darn, I missed it! I live in Detroit suburb but I didn't know he was coming for the tree lighting.

Outstanding and inspirational. This is an example of an athlete who was completely embodied in the moment.

1:50 the timing of the jump and music is just uncannily beautiful. I know many have said it, but I am so compelled to repeat it. What a performance!

Yeah I loved that part so in sync with the music. I think that’s the best part of the whole routine. I also love the part from 3:22-3:27 what a transition

He was so completely in sync with the music during this entire routine. He had skated to this music before and was great, but this performance was truly outstanding.

Nathan definitely deserve the gold, he didnt deserve all the hate and rude comments in the social media and mainly focusing in his outfit. I think what people were having the issue with was that his costume was a Vera Wang, and it looks like you could’ve gotten the same thing on eBay or Amazon for much cheaper. The costume was great for his routine, people were just shocked that it was a designer outfit

He looked fabulous. In any case, the main thing was his outfit showed the clear lines of his graceful performance. Showing the movement, outline of the body as it moves from one movement to the next is very important in judging. Agree, his performance was brilliant. Seemed effortless, etherial. And the main thing was people were absolutely enchanted by him. He had charisma as well as the skills.

The musicality is stunning

I cried at Rocketman. He looked so free, like it was just him and the ice. Just goosebumps. ❤

Nathan landed the jump with the music, it was the hardest quad Lutz ! Only Chen can do it !

I Love his moves so glad he got gold !!!

I remember as a kid every time we went to the skating rink, he was there with his mom doing triple lutz’s like it was nothing. He would practice like crazy even when the rink opened to the public.

I love Nathan's skating style. Am a bit put off by a lot kf the repetative and downright depressing song choices and stories too many skaters use that capture nothing of the times they are living in. I truly appreciate Nathan for going for a different style.

I know. I love Nathan's versatility and song choices. Too many skaters now choose songs by alternative artists that have a plodding tempo, angst-filled lyrics, and a dark tone. I know what you're talking about. So tired of those repetitive song choices from too many skaters.

I don't think people realize how crazy 2:10 is, if you look at his torso it's spinning continuously, but in order to keep himself skating forward, he has to quickly switch his foot between forward and backward facing

To land the most difficult jump 4Lutz @1:54 in sync with music is incredible !

I remember watching him in the Olympics when I was 9 in 2018 and he didn’t do too well. He’s come a long way and I’m proud of him

SO well-deserved! I don't know why NBC took their Olympic videos of most of the skating down. Before the Olympics were even over, Nathan's SP video had over 4.5 million views, and his LP had over 6 million views!

I love watching when really talented people smile as they show off their craft. That's when you see the inner joy of what they do come out. Most gifted people dont show joy or happiness. They lack personality and are all technical and stoic. But Nathan just beams. So in the happiness of doing what he is doing.

This literally made me smile. I had to rewatch the music transition again. I wish he was more expressive in the first half but he nailed the second half amazingly which made everything worth it.

Who can ever hear this song again and not think of Nathan's triumph or the fantastic journey he has taken us all on? A great anthem for a great champion.
