What a gorgeous interpretation of the music too. A true artist.

When I saw him perform this at Olympics it took me 3 days to put my jaw back from the floor. HIs perception, rhythm connection with the music is genius - romantic ballad set to a dynamic performance (quads!) with spectacular ending✨ will be my All Time standard. 🌟✨🏆

addicted to watching his skating videos -- he is so natural and fluid when he skats. Loved this one. Glad he won and congrats to him.

This is almost more impressive to me bc it's like, "Oh, yeah! He's a regular guy! He's not some machine you only see on an Olympic rink. He's a person doing this!" Also that location is gorgeous. The only downside to skating is the fluorescent lights.

I totally agree - in the old days you used to literally sit right at the edge of the ice and it was amazing to be eating dinner while the skaters did their thing less than 30 ft from you... Good Lord, I sound like my parents! "Back in my day" 😂.

The people in the past who have said he just skates from one side of the rink to the other and jumps (Which has never been true) should watch this and see how beautiful his movements are. His ballet training shows up so well in his port de bras and his pointed toes. Just beautiful beautiful work!!

Well, Nathan's programs in the previous two seasons had relatively less choreography, to be honest. But from the two new programs of this coming season, I see a lot of improvement in choreography and artistic interpretation. I am looking forward to his performances in the new season!

Some spectators only see artistry in the classical form. Nothing else. I was blown by him with Nemesis. The passion, it is so hot. This is soft and delicate and I also love it.

@@RM-uc4mf I'm glad he has been able to adjust and incorporate those, "pony jumps" he did in Nemesis into his other short programs. I'm sure it has a lot to do with Shae-Lynn being the choreographer but I see them as a signature move for him. In Nemesis they were bigger but for this program it's smaller and a great connecting move.

it was true. he was so robotic before. can’t even finish his program before. he has improved tremendously…. he works for if, so it’s a credit. hard work pays-off. amazing job

That audience doesnt understand what they are looking at. They only clap for the pirouettes but that whole dance is the best and more creative . It must be hard to practise with those people staring .

This performance, even it's broken up bits is so much more beautiful than what he performed in actual competitions. His footwork here is entrancing and literally held my expectations when I watched him perform in big competitions. There IS a difference.

Poetry on ice…he becomes one with the elements and masterfully and elegantly coaxes them into the magic he is weaving, floating above their responses….the dialog just keeps expanding… textures are woven in seemingly effortless patterns ,playing with space,time and music… it all just flows thru him… time suspends itself…. Truly this type of artist only comes along once in a generation…the years of dedicated training forged in ballet/music/gymnastics/and skating have manifested… a true gift to the sport…All That coupled with a sunny disposition and innate graciousness…..thank you for sharing ….it transports

The wind, the tree, the music, the man and my heart.

This was part of the Sun Valley on ice series and it was so much fun to be there and be a part of it. We don't get to go every year but we do go as often as we can and we've seen all of the best over the years. Katarina, Scott, Paul, Bryan, Victor, Kristie... I could go on for days. We are lucky to live so close to Sun Valley. For about 90% of the people there it's all about the slopes but thanks to my knees, I don't ski anymore. I hit the buffet and grab a warm toddy and watch the skaters instead and have just as much fun.
