People, WAKE UP!!!! How can you enjoy this modern sound of orchestra??? It' s absolutely nothing of the phrase. Nothing of the continued sound. Each note is shortened !!! All intensity of the Beethovens character is broken, because there isn't any conection between the notes. Every note gets the Mini- decreschendo.... just listen to it!!!! and you will hear! And just look in the score....!!!! Each note, dynamic, legato and sforzandi are written by Beethoven!!! Do you think he didn't mean, what he was writing????!!!!! He..!!!.. Beethoven !!!! The Genius !!! Not like you, who conducts in this video. You think, if you make it some different the audience will appreciate and love you...... OK.... it can be.....but, sorry there are still the musicians in the world, who understand the whole lie.... This sound, especially without Vibrato is sterile...., is like a meal without salt, like summer without sun, like sex without Orgasm, - it can happen, but do you really enjoy it???? We all people are flesch and blood- all around us is a Connection and Continuity --- our life continues year for year, day after day. We are all connected to our relatives and friends. The processes in the nature are the pure connections ( winter- spring- summer-autumn) and so on. The Musik is not exception...

What a joke. She looks like she is about to do the dishes, but instead ended up in front of an orchestra. Grotesque, to say the least.

You are entitled to your opinion but she is the one who conducts all over the world and you are just some sad, bitter loser who posts on You Tube. A point to ponder.

@@dudeforcaster8630 conducting all over the world nowadays is not a guarantee for craftmanship, as obvious shows in this video of the Eroica. She might be a brilliant singer, but she is just not a conductor, just no sense for tempo, phrasing, ensemble, harmonic development, balance, articulation etc.
